Just last week, Vice President Joe Biden said that he “fully understands” China’s one-child policy -- noting that the United States should learn “together” from what China has done in population control to help control their debt.
I was astounded. Biden, a supposed pro-life Roman Catholic, recklessly suggested that the United States should adopt similar measures -- measures that include forced abortion even in the eighth month of pregnancy!
Is this where we are headed as a nation because of runaway entitlement costs and out-of-control government spending? Would we ever consider such a barbaric and frightful policy?
