The United States has achieved a "milestone achievement," according to a Chinese virologist who raised the alarm about the origin of the coronavirus in early 2020. A classified intelligence analysis from the Energy Department reportedly indicated the virus most likely originated in a Chinese lab.
In September 2020, Dr. Li Meng Yan said on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" that the Chinese government had intentionally created and disseminated the COVID-19 virus, causing fatalities and widespread disruptions.
About three years after the pandemic began, host Tucker Carlson questioned Yan on Monday about whether she still thinks the virus was deliberately disseminated.
"Of course, it was not an accident," she responded.
Yan said that based on the evidence she has seen, and the source she has spoken to, the virus was "intentionally brought out of this strict lab and released in the community."
