Ukraine announces air alert in five oblasts of the country

November 24, 2022, 08:22

Thus, an air alert was announced in Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy and Cherkasy oblasts. [Last 3 are central]

November 23, 2022, 05:58

Recall, on November 23, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine. The armed forces of the Russian Federation dealt a massive blow to the Ukrainian infrastructure. Emergency power cuts were introduced throughout Ukraine.

According to the authorities, the cities of Ukraine, including Kyiv, were left without electricity. In some areas, there were problems with water supply, as well as interruptions in the Internet. In addition, traffic came to a halt, including disruptions to rail links that allowed the Kyiv regime to move troops and fighters.

At a meeting of the UN Security Council on November 24, Russia's Permanent Representative to the World Organization Vasily Nebenzia stressed that the Russian Federation will continue to take actions to limit Ukraine's military potential until Kyiv takes a realistic position in the negotiations. Nebenzya recalled that one of the goals of the special operation is to undermine the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which threatens the security and territorial integrity of the Russian Federation.

THEY FOUND NOT THE RUSSIAN WORLD, BUT MONEY

- Tell me, is there a “Russian world” here? - An annoying correspondent who burst into the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra for a sensation, along with counterintelligence, the security service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was trying to provoke the priest, inspired by the plot of Ukrainian TV.

“Joke around,” he answers calmly, clearly not wanting to talk.

They joked. Found it. Three thousand-ruble bills, a couple of issues of the newspaper "Russian Messenger" for the 150th anniversary of the writer Ivan Bunin from 2020 and a business card from the Russian Embassy.

Funny, but not fun.

Just yesterday, KP.RU wrote about searches conducted by Ukrainian security forces in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, in several other monasteries, in the very diocese of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate - UOC-MP).

Yesterday we warned that this is the beginning of the active destruction of the UOC-MP. And so a group of deputies from the Petro Poroshenko faction submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on a complete ban on the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine. And along with it, all subordinate or constituent organizations.

ATTACKING THEIR VERY ORIGINS

Some experts say that since the initiative came from Poroshenko, there is still hope that in the Rada, where the Servant of the People [Zelensky’s party] has a constitutional majority, this initiative may not pass. But this is just wishful thinking. Russian Orthodoxy is supposed to be the last to die. The rest is already dead.

Some are under fear of literally death, or even worse - torture, others - in the heat of pseudo-patriotism, residents of even obviously Russian oblasts are increasingly switching to Ukrainian in conversations even at home. Now it’s the faith’s turn.

Poroshenko started the war on faith. It was he, in a duet with Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, who created the schismatic OCU - the Orthodox Church of Ukraine. And its leadership today, of course, is most interested in the spiritual and material values of the OCU. After all, according to the bill, its property, parishes, and all its money will be taken away from it.

[It is interesting to note that Poroshenko is generally believed to be Jewish, though he denies it. But there seems to be documented evidence https://niqnaq.wordpress.com/2014/05/25/is-poroshenko-jewish-enquiring-minds-want-to-know-of-course-so-lets-get-this-straight/]

And there is something to take away. According to the official website of the Russian Orthodox Church, the OCU has 53 dioceses and 12,069 parishes. 12,283 clergy serve in them. In addition, there are 251 monasteries on the territory of Ukraine. And the parishioners are 35 million believers (more than 80% of the country's population). [Remember that, since 2014, all anti-Russian policies in Ukraine reflect the will of Washington, which has long sought to break up and hence destroy Russia, which has cultural claims to Ukraine. The ancient Kiev Lavra monastery is the most important shrine of the Russian faith. There is a political scheme to transform this Ukrainian Orthodox church to a Uniate church. The Uniate church has no ties to the Russian Patriarchate. Its outward rituals are the same as in Russian Orthodoxy, but it is divorced from its roots. An attack on Russian faith is an attack on the Russian soul.]

The current leadership of Ukraine refers even to these values, as in a pawnshop: at best, "scrap from non-ferrous metals." Zelensky is interested in the spiritual (moral) support of the church for secular power. In the conditions of the Ukraineian faithful, this is of great importance.

[This is why it is naive to imagine that Putin will abandon his plan to denazify and demilitarize ALL of Ukraine. He must because Ukraine is the cradle of Russian faith. What the US is doing to Russia now via its puppets in Kiev is tantamount to what the communists did to Russia after 1917. They are in effect taking Christ out of the church].

The Orthodox faith unites people. That is why they are hitting the Church, - military expert Mikhail Onufrienko noted on Solovyov Live. –“If Rus' was baptized a thousand years ago, then at the time it was a single state from the Baltic to the rapids of the Dnieper. And this state was definitely not called Ukraine. You can pull the Bandera-Galician blanket over him as much as you like, but it is impossible to change history and facts. The Orthodox Church unites by the very fact of its existence – we were united.” [By Bandera-Galician, the author is referring to the fact that the openly Nazi and Hitler supporter Stepan Bandera, who murdered thousands of Ukrainian Jews, is thought of as a hero in the Western area of Galicia, the origin of much of the Nazi ideology in the country. US politicians and media have spread the lie that Nazism plays no important role in the Ukrainian military and government, but the important political party, the Nazi-sympathetic Pravy Sektor (Right Sector) and the various Nazi-imbued military formations, such as the Azov and Aidar batallions, heavily influence political and military policies. We can assume that the criminal policy of executing Russian POWs originate with such groups. Like Hitler’s anti-Jewish policies, the Ukrainian anti-Russian policies are based on ethnic hate. The allies did NOT defeat Nazism in WW II!]

WAITING FOR A MERGER?

In general, of course, there is a certain historical paradox in that in Kyiv they are destroying the very Church that was originally founded there.

- Let me remind you that the relics of the chronicler Nestor, the man who created the first written history of Ancient Rus', are kept in the Lavra. There are the relics of the epic hero Ilya Muromets. For all Orthodoxy, this is a sacred place. And it is clear that a blow to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church is also a blow to the Russian Orthodox Church,” Kirill Vyshinsky, a journalist and executive director of the Rossiya Segodnya news agency, said on air on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

But there is also historical justice in this. Those who now rule Kyiv have nothing to do with Orthodoxy. Moreover, they are opposite to it in morality, morality, human philosophy and worldview.

The head of the UOC, Metropolitan Onufry, immediately after the submission of the scandalous bill to the Rada, convened a meeting of the Synod. But something tells us that he understood the act of intimidation that the SBU [Ukrainian secret service] and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine carried out in the Lavra, the Rivne [RU: Rovno] diocese and two monasteries (male and female, respectively). And it is possible that after some time we will hear about the impending merger with the schismatic OCU, and in fact, about the transition of the OCU under the authority and leadership of the schismatics.

CALL IT WHAT YOU WANT, BUT FAITH REMAINS

https://www.kp.ru/daily/27475/4682138/

No repressions and bans can stifle faith. It does not matter what the name of the church that sits in the Lavra will be called - it is still temporary. Orthodoxy will not leave Ukraine anywhere, war correspondent Andrei Afanasiev, host of the Spas TV channel, said on the KP radio.

- This is a great lesson for us, living in Russia. A great example of what our enemies see as a threat to themselves.

What do they consider a threat?

- Many still do not understand that the creation of the so-called schismatic patriarchates, all sorts of Orthodox churches in Ukraine, Tomos is not just an initiative of some group of particularly broad Ukrainian nationalists. This is a systematic project of global political and financial forces to destroy Russia, which, unlike us, are well aware of what we stand for and what keeps us all together.

Striking a blow at faith.

- Please note that all the most terrible and bloody events always began after the Ukrainian authorities, with the support of [Washington-centered] global structures, began the process of literally tearing the body of the church apart. As soon as it starts, there is terrible bloodshed. God allows terrible bloodshed when, with dirty, unwashed hands, as was the case in the 1930s, on the eve of the Great Patriotic War, as was the case in Maidan and post-Maidan Ukraine, they begin to meddle with the shrine and try to subdue it.

And they prefer to fight the church with repressions.

A large number of priests of the canonical church who refuse to cooperate, to support the current authorities - are suffering. Some are already dead, some have been in prisons, in basements for years. One of the priests who went through torture showed me the prison, the premises where he was tortured, where he was beaten, where they tried to persuade him to sign documents on cooperation. This once again proves the anti-Christian and anti-Orthodox nature of political Ukrainianism as a dogma. This is akin to… anti-religion.

Will ordinary people will renounce their faith?

- There is Orthodox Ukraine, and people who continue to associate themselves with the Russian world are waiting for us [meaning they are waiting for the Russian army to liberate them], they are there. A lot of them. But modern Ukrainian society is arranged in such a way that today the principles of denunciations, humiliations, and persecution without trial or investigation are in effect.

In the early Union, there were also persecutions of the church.

But they kept the faith. And here it will be the same. Ukraine - totalitarian, bloodthirsty, frenzied - it will end. The Kiev-Pechersk saints, the Lavra and the true Orthodox faith, it will persist there. Because it is not of the world, and it does not depend on people. If it depended on people, on us, everything would have ended long ago. And then God keeps everything.
