MOSCOW, July 7, 2022 - RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with leaders of party factions in the State Duma and gave an assessment of the situation in Ukraine and the international situation.
On the Ukrainian crisis
As the head of state noted, Russia has not yet begun anything in earnest in Ukraine.
"We do not refuse peace negotiations, but those who refuse should know that the more this continues, the more difficult it will be for them to negotiate with us," he said. [We are seeing this in spades in Europe, which keeps trying to bypass Russian oil and gas, but without any viable plan for replacing this energy. As time goes on, Russia quite naturally loses interest in negotiating with the West. Further, the West said – in the person of Lloyd Austin – that it intends to weaken Russia, and has already illegally confiscated $300 billion of Russian reserves in an act of brazen outright theft. Further, the United West, inspired by Trump, illegally shut down a nearly-finished pipeline project, Nord Stream 2, with the clear intent of sabotaging the Russian economy (thus the notion that Trump is friendly to Russia is utter nonsense). Further, the US seizure of power in Kiev in 2014 and the US-backed genocide in Donbass (never covered in the msm) were daggers aimed at Russia’s heart. So should Russia make every effort to deliver gas to these haters? What does Russia owe its declared enemy that in these moves alone has de facto declared war on it?]
Putin drew attention to the fact that it was the West that unleashed the war in Donbass by supporting the coup in Ukraine in 2014.
“We are told that we started a war in the Donbass. No, it was unleashed by this very collective West, organizing and supporting an unconstitutional armed coup in Ukraine, and then encouraging and justifying genocide against people in the Donbass,” he explained.
In addition, statements that Western countries want to fight Russia "to the last Ukrainian" are a tragedy for the entire Ukrainian people, but everything is heading toward this, the president added.
“Today we hear that they want to defeat us on the battlefield. Well, what can I say? Let them try,” he said. The old US.dominated unipolar world with the US preaching freedom but with its boot on the neck of every world leader, is fast melting away.]
Speaking about relations with Western countries, the head of state noted that they ignored all attempts by Russia to conduct a dialogue on issues of concern. [Putin is warning that they will now pay for this hubris]
"Our proposals to create a system of equal security in Europe have been rejected, initiatives on joint work on the issues of missile defense have been rejected, warnings about the unacceptability of NATO expansion, especially at the expense of the former republics of the Soviet Union, have been ignored," he explained.
According to the president, the West is trying to impose a model of totalitarian liberalism and a widespread clamp-down on the whole world.
The American world is no more. What is and what will be?
“But the truth and reality is that the peoples of most countries do not want such a life and future. [Yes, the US touts the fact that most countries voted in favor of sanctions on Russia in the UN, but the facts is, the voting countries were under extreme pressure and subject to threats from Washington at the time of that vote. The global south that dared to reject this proposal or withhold their vote, represents a greater number of people – the global majority -- and today, they are flocking to the BRICS, applying for membership in an economic organization with currencies based on REAL money and real industries, not the tired old US printing press of a has-been racked with runaway inflation and recession.] They really strive not for formal, decorative sovereignty, but for substantive, real sovereignty. And they are simply tired of groveling, humiliating themselves in front of those who consider themselves exceptional. Moreover, to the detriment of oneself to serve their interests," the Russian leader stressed. Nor was he able to show that these Founders and their document in any way promoted the idea that the US should, or was entitled to, force other countries to accept their way of government or wage wars wantonly killing civilians and combatants alike, or impose economic sanctions to starve them, in a bid to force these countries to accept the American way.
Against this background, the Western ruling elites began to use despotism in politics, including censorship and prohibitions in public life. [Think Julian Assange. Recall that neither Trump nor Biden in any way objected to jailing a dissident – something we used to associate only with Hitler’s Germany and the USSR. There is no political will to defend freedom of speech or the press. America has fundamentally acquiesced to totalitarianism]
"The ruling classes of Western countries... realizing that their policy is increasingly divorced from reality, from common sense, from the truth, has begun to use frankly despotic methods," Putin said.
Nevertheless, the destruction of the old world order has already taken place, and attempts to impose a new one [he means a new version of the old order, of course. Remember that Putin speaks without notes] are doomed to failure, the president added.

️The Russian Armed Forces continue strikes against military facilities in Ukraine.
High-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces have destroyed: 6 command posts, including 107th Battalion of 63rd Mechanised Brigade of the Reserve Command near Barmashevo and 2 territorial defence battalions near Nikolaev; 3 armament and ammunition depots near Artemovsk, Seversk and Zvanovka in Donetsk People's Republic; enemy manpower and military equipment in 14 areas, including 1 foreign mercenary position in Posad-Pokrovskoye in Nikolaev Region and 1 training centre for AFU units near Ochakov.
[Note: all of the above-mentioned sites were destroyed by standoff weapons. Therefore no Russian troops died or were injured in these attacks, which definitely killed perhaps 100s of enemy fighters, including the foreign mercenary position. Some of these mercenaries would have had experience fighting in the Middle East against inadequately trained and supplied fighters there. Many of these men are therefore recruited with false expectations that the Russians will be just as easy to fight as the Middle Easterners. As a result of their disillusionment, hundreds of these foreign fighters are fleeing Ukraine and few or none are coming to replace them. The Western media can no longer keep up the lie that the Russians are losing.]
As part of the counter-battery fighting, 3 platoons of Grad multiple-launch rocket systems near Dzerzhinsk, 4 artillery batteries near Seversk and 1 artillery platoon of 152 mm Hyacinth-B howitzers at firing positions near Gorlovka in Donetsk People's Republic have been neutralised. [This is the kind of equipment that has been used – and still is used – to attack civilian residences since 2014. If the Western media had reported this openly and honestly, this war would not be happening. No Westerners would approve of their country fighting on behalf of Nazi genocidal killers. But instead, these evil men have been portrayed as heroes and freedom fighters in the press for the sole purpose of keeping the West in the dark and portraying the Russians as the violators of human rights, to perpetuate an unjust war.]
Operational-tactical and army aviation, and missile troops and artillery have hit 142 areas of AFU manpower and military equipment concentration. [We can only imagine how many hundreds of Ukrainian fighters were killed in these air attacks]

6 Ukrainian Tochka-U ballistic missiles have been intercepted near Skadovsk, Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson Region, and Grushevka in Kharkov Region, and 12 projectiles of multiple-launch rocket systems near Chernobayevka in Nikolaev Region, Glinskoye, Izyum, Dolgenkoe, Chervony Oskol, Donetsk, Ryasnoe, Grabshkoe, Makeevka, Krinichnoe and Oktyabrskoe in Donetsk People's Republic. We have already noted that Ukraine and other post-Soviet states have become a testing ground for biological weapons not only for the USA, but also for its NATO allies; on the first place, Germany. Various projects have been carried out on behalf of the Joint Medical Service of the German Armed Forces.
️ Bundeswehr professionals paid particular attention to the Congo-Crimean fever pathogen. A large-scale screening of the susceptibility of the local population to this infection was carried out and included summarising demographic, epidemiological and clinical data. This kind of approaches allows to identify new regional virus genotypes and to select strains that cause latent clinical forms.
️ The study of natural foci of Crimean-Congo fever was carried out under the pretext of improving the Ukrainian epidemiological surveillance system, with the participation of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine in Kiev and the Mechnikov Anti-Plague Institute in Odessa.
️ Bundeswehr's interest in Crimean-Congo fever stems from the fact that mortality can be as high as 30% and its outbreaks create a need for lengthy and costly treatment, preventive and special handling measures.

A separate project on ixodid ticks that are vectors of a number of highly dangerous infections (tularemia, West Nile fever, Congo-Crimean fever) has been implemented by the University of Texas.
️ Ticks used to be collected in the south-eastern regions of Ukraine, where natural foci of infections characteristic of the territory of the Russian Federation are located. At the same time, the period of implementing this work coincided with a rapid increase in the incidence of tick-borne borreliosis among the Ukrainian population, as well as the increase in the number of ticks in various regions of Russia bordering Ukraine.

Note the report prepared for the U.S. Defence Department by Black & Veatch and Metabiota. According to the document, Veterinary Projects codenamed 'TAP' were implemented simultaneously with the U-P projects in Ukraine.
️ Their main guideline lies in economically significant quarantine infections capable of damaging the agriculture of several countries and entire regions, such as glanders, African swine fever (ASF), classical swine fever, highly pathogenic avian influenza and Newcastle disease.
️ African swine fever with two projects dedicated to this pathogen represented particular interest to U.S. military biologists.
The TAP-3 project was aimed to study the spread of ASF pathogen through wild animals. The migration routes of wild boar through Ukraine had been examining within its framework. The TAP-6 project scaled this process up to Eastern European countries.
️ The study of vector populations of dangerous zoonotic infections was carried out by staff of the Institute of New Pathogens of the University of Florida (Gainesville) in Volyn, Rovno, Zhitomir and Chernigov regions of Ukraine, as well as in the areas bordering Belarus and Russia.
️ Note the worsening situation of African swine fever in Eastern European countries: According to the International Office of Epizootics, since 2014, outbreaks have been recorded in Latvia (4,021 cases), Estonia (3,814) and Lithuania (4,201). In Poland, more than 13,000 cases of ASF have been detected, and agricultural losses from the disease have exceeded 2.4 billion Euros.
