FLORIDA - JOE HARDING WEEKLY UPDATE

 

WEEKLY UPDATE Dear Friends, This past Tuesday, I joined the Florida Farm Bureau at the Taste of Florida reception that they hosted in front of the Old Capital building where they showcased different foods grown all across the state of Florida. On Wednesday morning, I met with Dr. Cauffield of LSF Health Systems to discuss mental health awareness, particularly concerning the health of homeless veterans, in Marion County. This is a weighty and important issue to discuss and I am grateful for Dr. Cauffield's dedication to raising awareness for mental health concerns.

I also was able to meet with Florida Voice for the Unborn, an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of the unborn. It was great to hear about their efforts fighting for the cause as it is an issue I am passionate about work hard to advocate for in the House.

To round out the week, Myles and Haylee had the opportunity to attend a topping out ceremony at Chiefland Middle High School.
