Take Action: Demand AG Merrick Garland Resign NOW! Shocking new emails released this week alleged the FBI created a "threat tag" – essentially labeling parents concerned about the injection of Marxist Critical Race Theory curriculum in classrooms as domestic terrorists! This could leave moms and dads who simply want to stand up to out-of-control leftwing school boards open to prosecution under the USA PATRIOT Act as though they were members of Al-Qaeda poised to kill thousands of Americans. This should send a chill down the spine of EVERY American who believes in free speech and the rule of law. Friend, please take action now. Tell AG Merrick Garland that concerned parents aren't terrorists! If you agree, click here to add your name to FreedomWorks' Petition. For Freedom, Parissa Sedghi and Noah Wall |

Will Joe Biden Learn Jimmy Carter's Inflation Lesson? |
By FreedomWorks Senior Economist Stephen Moore via Towhall In the 1980 presidential campaign, the Republican challenger, Ronald Reagan, said, "A recession is when your neighbor loses his job. A depression is when you lose yours. And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his." The Gipper turned out to be correct. The gale-force winds of rising inflation had knocked working-class people to the ground, with paychecks shrinking month after month. Reagan wound up winning a landslide victory, and Carter was bounced out of office. The middle class hates inflation. The New York Times recently surmised that the effects of inflation are mostly "psychological," and that people should appreciate that "the U.S. economy is doing well." Wrong. People feel the impact of rising prices daily. It doesn't just make them FEEL poorer. They are poorer. READ MORE HERE |

New Drug Pricing Scheme Means More Government, Less Medicine |
By FreedomWorks Policy Assistant Kilian Laverty As we rapidly approach the holiday season, Democrats are in a mad dash to see their high-spending Big Government Socialism Bill passed through Congress. A grab-bag of left-wing priorities, this tax and spend package rewards Nancy Pelosi’s political allies while leaving the American people in the dust. The multi-trillion-dollar reconciliation package includes a drug pricing scheme that purports to make medicine more affordable but actually does the opposite. The new drug pricing provisions have a disproportionate impact on the generic and biosimilar markets, the very products that drive the cost of medication down. READ MORE HERE |

A Man Without a Mandate: Why Biden's Vaccine Order Will Cause More Harm Than Good |
By Director of FreedomWorks' Regulatory Action Center Beverly McKittrick If the president of the United States has been paying any attention to the backlash his vaccine plan is causing, it’s painfully obvious that there was never really a mandate for his mandate. President Biden has ordered all Americans who work in businesses with 100 or more employees to either get COVID vaccinations or undergo weekly testing. Long awaited details on how the mandate would be enforced were unveiled last week; however, none of what was revealed was able to offset the fact that this mandate is unwise, unnecessary, and will further inflame opposition to COVID vaccines among the vaccine resistant public. Rather than providing Americans with an opportunity to weigh in on the mandate, Biden claims that “emergency powers” give him the right to set this mandate without input from the very people that it will affect. Though the public will be able to comment on whether or not the mandate should be made permanent, they were never asked whether or not it should have been ordered in the first place. READ MORE HERE |

The Economy-Sapping Impact of the $15B Elon Must Tax Will Be Largely Unseen |
By Director of FreedomWorks' Center for Economic Freedom John Tamny via RealClearMarkets Chief Executive Officers in the U.S. can’t win. First the political class thought they were paid too much in salary, at which point compensation shifted to stock. The idea behind the shift was to align CEOs with shareholders more. The alleged problem was that CEOs succeeded too much on the way to even larger pay packages. Most would celebrate this kind of achievement. Politicians disdain it all the while helping themselves to the proceeds of what they claim to disdain. In Elon Musk’s case, Tesla’s CEO doesn’t take a salary. All his pay comes in Tesla shares. While enriching his shareholders Musk has become arguably the world’s richest man. "No fair" say politicians. Get ready for him to be hauled before Congress to “explain” himself. Until then, Musk owes a lot in taxes for having had the temerity to do well. The bill varies with report, but supposedly it’s in the $9 to $15 billion range. READ MORE HERE |

Parent Activists Warn That Fight for Education Far From Over |
Via The Daily Signal Parent activists, school board members, and a congressman gathered Monday in Washington to remind Attorney General Merrick Garland and the Justice Department that the fight for education is only just beginning. “Whether it’s radical transgender policies in our schools, whether it’s putting masks on our children, which is paramount to child abuse, whether it’s forcing vaccines on our children, or whether it’s teaching radical critical race theory in our school systems, educating our teachers to teach that, the lens through which everything is taught, we reject that,” Rep. Bob Good, R-Va., said at a press conference held by the conservative and libertarian advocacy group, FreedomWorks. READ MORE HERE |
