SOCIALISM - NOT FOR AMERICA!

       A statement about Socialism has been widely circulated on Facebook and attributed to Norman Matoon Thomas, a well known member of the Socialist Party in America, who ran for President six times as their nominee. I always research what I write and post or email to see if it is true or not, just as I did in this case. There is no record of Mr. Thomas or anyone else ever making this statement in a speech. But they could have. So, with that, I do hereby declare that I will make (repeat) this statement, and give my permission to quote me.

I want no credit for originating the words, but you may quote me, if you wish, as making this statement, because I am. Why do I do this, you may wonder. I do so because, as a great many of you know, I've been writing about Socialism creeping into our country for several years and the American people becoming slaves of this ugly form of government.

       We are currently experiencing the Democrat Party leadership of Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and others in congress barreling us in that direction like a runaway freight train.

       A year from next month we all will have the opportunity to try and change the direction these people are taking us. Here is that statement and it puts it so beautifully in a nutshell. Please take this seriously, it is the only point of my message.

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of "Liberalism", they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened. People no longer need to run as a presidential candidate of the Socialist Party of America. The Democrat Party has adopted their platform."
