Dear Friend, Halloween is this weekend. I’m sure many of you have plans to take the little one’s trick-or-treating. I encourage you to have fun but be cautious. With COVID-19 still looming and flu season in full swing, make sure you’re still washing your hands, covering your cough, and maintaining a safe distance from others. A quick note for residents of Taylor, Dixie, Jefferson, Lafayette, and Madison Counties - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) is reminding businesses of all sizes, private nonprofit organizations, homeowners, and renters in Florida of the Nov. 23 deadline to apply for physical damage disaster loans. Anyone in the declared counties with damages affected by the severe storms and flooding on Aug. 3 – 7, 2021, should apply for the low-interest disaster loan program. You can read more about this here. Here are a few good news stories from Florida-02 to get you through your week -- |
As we continue taking measures to combat COVID-19, maintaining your mental health may become more difficult. I encourage you to visit this page if you are experiencing anxiousness or hopelessness.
