WEEKLY UPDATE Dear Friends, Monday, I kicked off the start of the first committee week by attending my first set of committee meetings. As a reminder, here are my current committee assignments: Local Administration & Veterans Affairs Subcommittee Vice Chair Education & Employment Committee Post-Secondary Education & Lifelong Learning Subcommittee Congressional Redistricting Subcommittee Health Care Appropriations Subcommittee Infrastructure & Tourism Appropriations Subcommittee Regulatory Reform Subcommittee

Tuesday, I attended a series of events hosted by CFO Jimmy Patronis to honor our brave firefighters throughout Florida. One event was a Firefighters Service Awards Ceremony, which took place under the Firefighter Memorial at the Florida State Capitol.

Wednesday, I met with officials at American for Prosperity (AFP) to discuss potential workforce education for this upcoming session.

Thursday, I wrapped up committee meetings and concluded the first week back at the Capitol.

Friday, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Oak Run Shooting Sports Club in Ocala.
