FLORIDA - JOE HARDING WEEKLY UPDATE

WEEKLY UPDATE

Dear Friends,

On Monday, I had the pleasure of speaking to the Marion County Republican Executive Committee where I shared a legislative update and was able to meet some of the men and women dedicated to fighting for conservatism.

Tuesday, I, alongside Rep. Stan McClain took donuts and coffee to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in appreciation for everything they do. While we were visiting, Sheriff Billy Woods shared with Rep. McClain and I what his legislative priorities are and the improvements that are important to him.
Later that afternoon, the HDG Hotels had a ribbon cutting ceremony for their new headquarters. Although I was unable to attend the event, I am excited and proud that they were finally able to have their public opening.
This week I also had the opportunity to speak with the Williston Council Meeting, where I had the privilege of engaging in a meaningful discussion about the town's legislative priorities and funding for local projects.
On Friday, I met with April McDonald and Mike Bianculli to learn about Project Hope of Marion County

Project of Hope is a program for homeless women with children here in Ocala. The program currently houses twenty four women and thirty eight children. The program teaches the women life skills and helps them get a job and save their money to eventually graduate out of the program. They are doing an outstanding job helping our community and I am grateful for the support they provide for these women!
On Friday, I met with the Ocala Horse Alliance to learn about the Black Stallion Project. Over the next five years, the Black Stallion Reading Project will harness horse power to encourage fourth-grade students to read, set goals, achieve, and become aware of job and career opportunities in the equestrian industry. The program links schools and horse farms and provides rewards and incentives for students to achieve their personal best.
As always, we want to hear from you. If you have an issue or suggestion, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

Have a great weekend!
Joe
