APPALLING Report On Police Being Killed

The number of police officers intentionally rammed by vehicles, killed by gunfire, or stabbed to death has increased over 40% throughout the first six months of 2021 compared to last year as crime in major cities in the United States continues to rise, a review by the Washington Examiner found.

Who is protecting the people who protect us? Certainly not politicians. Quite the opposite, if big city politicians are any indication.

About Bleeding Blue

A riveting, award-winning documovie and journey; a candid and intimate look into the lives and thoughts of several police officers and their families.

Juneteenth: National Day of Carnage

To understand the situation with lawlessness, look at what happened on the new national holiday:

Juneteenth celebrations this weekend in California, South Carolina, Michigan and Colorado, a high school graduation party in Philadelphia, and a concert in Baton Rouge were all marred by gun violence as five people were killed and 24 were wounded, authorities said.

In one of these "celebrations", a woman drove to a police checkpoint and shot at a police officer. Thankfully, the officer was not hurt, but the woman was shot and killed.

Attacks On Law Enforcement Up 41% On Biden's Watch

A total of 38 law enforcement personnel have been killed so far this year, equating to a 41% increase compared to data from 2020, based on tabulations made by the Officer Down Memorial Page.

By June 19 of 2020, 27 officers were pronounced dead in circumstances considered homicides out of a total of 50 who died in a similar fashion throughout 2020 as a whole. Below are other year-by-year comparisons:

  • In 2019, 24 officers were killed in the same timeframe; 2021 is a 58% increase over this year
  • in 2018, 33 were killed in a similar fashion, 2021 increased 15% over this year
  • In 2017, 27 were killed, 2021 a 41% increase
  • in 2016, 22 were pronounced dead in circumstances considered homicides, 2021 equating to a 73% uptick
