The First take: There appears to be one very consistent fact about China and the COVID-19 virus. China will do whatever it takes to prevent anyone or any country from independently investigating the origins of the pandemic that killed millions around the world.
The First take: Perhaps the most disturbing part of this story is the fact a sitting senator refers to this threat as "the latest threat." Threats to any elected official should be the exception and not a regular thing.
The First take: Perhaps the only thing that astounds us more than this man's regular, confused and disjointed statements is the mainstream media's lack of coverage of them. We vow to never let a good gaffe go to waste.
The First take: Crowded tents inside a fenced encampment, hidden from the media with reports of more children arriving daily. We wonder at what point will journalism trump party loyalty?
