The First take: We're always happy to see warring factions try to work out their differences with words instead of weapons. And, we sincerely hope the ceasefire holds. We just wonder if Hamas agreed to stop firing rockets into Israel because they are interested in peace or were they running low on munitions?

We also believe the governor choosing his brother to advise him speaks volumes on his decision making. But doesn't this smell of a conflict of interest for the CNN host?
