ISRAEL REPORT 03/20/2021

Israel’s Final Polls Show Another Election Night Stalemate.

201

20 March 2021

Israel is holding parliamentary elections for the fourth time in two years on March 23.

The last polls before Israel’s March 23 national vote show another stalemate, with neither Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s camp nor the opposing bloc clearly able to muster a parliamentary majority.

In most polls, Netanyahu’s Likud party -- the country’s biggest -- appeared slightly stronger than before, winning 30 to 32 of parliament’s 120 seats.

Four parties were grazing the threshold to enter parliament. That could have a dramatic impact because in Israel’s fragmented political landscape, even a seat or two could decide the outcome.

Iran to cold test redesigned Arak nuclear reactor....

DUBAI: Iran will cold test its redesigned Arak nuclear reactor [pictured above] as a prelude to fully commissioning it later in the year, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization said on Friday.

Spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi [pictured below] was quoted by local media as saying the cold testing, which usually include the initial start-up of fluid systems and support systems, will take place early in the Iranian new year that begins this Sunday.

“In other words, we have advanced work in the field of fuel, storage, etc,” Kamalvandi said.

Iran has recently accelerated its breaches of the 2015 international nuclear deal in an apparent bid to pressure US President Joe Biden to reverse his predecessor’s abandonment of the agreement. Both sides are locked in a standoff over who should move first to save the deal.

Iran agreed to shut down the reactor at Arak – about 250 kilometres southwest of Tehran – under the 2015 deal. It was allowed to produce a limited amount of heavy water and Tehran has been working on redesigning the reactor. It says it plans to make isotopes for medical and agricultural use.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said in a report to member states earlier this week that Iran has started enriching uranium at its underground Natanz plant with a second type of advanced centrifuge, the IR-4, in a further breach of the deal.

Russia sent 4 Su-34 fighter-bombers to its base in Syria.

DAMASCUS– Russia’s Aviapro news agency claims in its report that Moscow has delivered four fighter-bombers to the Kmeimim airbase in Syria. The delivery took place on March 19, 2021, after five Tu-154 military transport planes landed at the base.

Analysts say the appearance of the Su-34 is very unusual, especially for military action in Syria.

Some suggest that the Russian Su-34s will be fighter jets that will “fight” Turkish armoured vehicles in Idlib and Latakia. A source from the Russian Ministry of Defence, who was on board one of the five transport planes, said they took off from the Volga airport near Astrakhan and flew over the Caspian Sea.

There are two versions in the Russian media. This will be Moscow’s response to Ankara after Erdogan begins sending massive Turkish armoured vehicles to the Arab republic again. The second version is that this is a rotation of Russian troops in the territory of Syria. We have seen similar American’ processes, who rotate their troops in Iraq and Syria almost every three months.

Russia uses ballistic missiles in Syria.

205

Russia has increased its use of artillery and ballistic missiles in recent days. On March 5, the Russian military attacked oil convoys and depots destined for Turkey. Two types of ballistic missiles were used – Iskander and Tochka-U OTRK. The attacks took place nearly 1.5km from the Turkish border.

It is alleged that the Russians fired the Iskander ballistic missile from their Khmeimim airbase, located 250 km from the attacked positions. Iskander is a quasi-ballistic missile with medium range.

Daring Judean Desert expeditions uncover stunning, poignant finds.

The first Biblical scroll fragments to be discovered in 60 years are among the awesome relics unearthed in Israeli Antiquities Authority excavations in the most remote caves of the forbidding Judean Desert.

More than a score of 2,000-year-old Greek translations of the books of Zechariah and Nahum were discovered with only the name of God written in Hebrew, as well as an ancient woven basket and the approximately 6,000year-old, mummified skeleton of a six-year-old child.

The expedition to uncover the secrets of the ancient desert was launched in 2017. After all efforts to stop the rampant looting of priceless sites, fired up by a Bedouin shepherd’s sensational discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls 70 years ago at Qumran, the Antiquities Authority mounted an inter-departmental, national project to beat the robbers at their own game.  Since then, expeditions have exhaustively investigated every nook and cranny of this untamed wilderness.

The scroll fragments were found in the craggy “Cave of Horrors” – so named for its inaccessibility. Flanked by gorges, some 80 metres below a sheer clifftop overlooking the Nahal Hever, this cave can only be reached by rappelling precariously down the crumbling cliff face. [pictured below]

In a press release on Tuesday, March 16, Israel Antiquities Authority’s director Israel Hasson, who led the wide-ranging rescue operation, praised the teams’ courage, dedication and devotion in daring expeditions to reach one cave after another, while swallowing tons of suffocating dust in arid desert conditions, and returning with gifts of immeasurable worth for mankind.

So far, around 80 sq, km have been surveyed and mapped by three teams, led by IAA archaeologists Oriah Amichai, Hagay Hamer and Haim Cohen. Using drones and high-tech rappelling and mountain-climbing gear, the archaeologists and a team of volunteers from pre-military academies were able to access “inaccessible” caves — some of which had seen no human face in nearly two millennia.

On Tuesday morning, a sample of the dazzling discoveries were unveiled for the first time. Crowning them are the 20 or so biblical scroll fragments, found in rolled up batches. The IAA experts have reconstructed 11 lines of Greek text translated from Zechariah 8:16–17, as well as verses from Nahum 1:5–6.

The name of God appears in the Paleo-Hebrew script that was used during the First Temple period. It also served some followers of the Bar Kochba revolt (132–136 CE), against the Roman conquest and was found in contemporaneous coinage. The same script recurs in the works of the Qumran Essene community of Qumran.

The woven basket, [pictured below] a massive 90-100 litre receptacle, some thousands of years old, is believed to predate by a thousand years the first known pottery vessels. This Neolithic basket woven from plant materials was preserved intact due to the region’s exceptionally arid climate.

207

That same climate also accounted for the poignant discovery of a six-year-old child, whose mummified remains were carefully wrapped around in a blanket some 6,000 years ago. Rare samples of surviving hair, skin and tendons are being scientifically appraised.

The high cliffs of the Judean Desert, the dizzying drops and hidden ravines appear to have been places of refuge.in times of danger. “And in one period in human history, families fled to the caves in the Judean Desert, and we really don’t know anything else,” said Ofer Sion, head of the IAA’s Surveys Department.

Archaeologist Oriah Amichai went on to explain: “Relics in some of the most remote caves indicate they had carried with them their most prized possession against a time when it was safe to return to their homes. We come here and reconstruct the lives of those who didn’t survive in the end,” she said.

Several of the caves offered random finds left behind by Jewish rebels in flight at the end of the Bar Kochba Revolt, including a cache of coins minted with Jewish symbols such as a harp and a date palm, an array of arrowheads and spearheads, pieces of woven fabric, sandals and lice combs, which illustrated the everyday items taken by the fleeing Jews.

Those relics provide priceless insights into the enigmatic lives and times prevailing in those moments of history.

Pope Francis Calls for ‘New World Order’ After the Pandemic.

20 March 2021

Pope Francis insists in a new book things will never be the same in a post-pandemic world, calling instead for the establishment of a “new world order.”

In a book-length interview with journalist Domenico Agasso titled God and the World to Come, scheduled for release in Italian on Tuesday, the pontiff reiterates his case for the Great Reset with a shift away from financial speculation, fossil fuels, and military build-up toward a green economy based on inclusiveness.

After the coronavirus pandemic, “no one today can afford to rest easy,” the pope declares in a lengthy extract from the book published by Vatican News. “The world will never be the same again. But it is precisely within this calamity that we must grasp those signs which may prove to be the cornerstones of reconstruction.”

“Let us all keep in mind that there is something worse than this crisis: the drama of wasting it,” he states. “We cannot emerge from a crisis the same as before: we either come out better or we come out worse.”

We can heal injustice “by building a new world order based on solidarity, studying innovative methods to eradicate bullying, poverty and corruption,” he adds, “all working together, each for their own part, without delegating and passing the buck.”

This new world order will be based on eradicating inequalities and attending to the environment, the pope affirms. Confirming the view of the head of the World Economic Forum – Klaus Schwab.

We can no longer blithely accept inequalities and disruptions to the environment,” he declares. “The path to humanity’s salvation passes through the creation of a new model of development, which unquestionably focuses on coexistence among peoples in harmony with Creation.”

And here is us foolishly claiming that salvation is available only through the imputed righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ?

As a path toward a solution, Francis points toward young people involved in “ecological movements.”

If we don’t roll up our sleeves and immediately take care of the Earth, with radical personal and political choices, with an economic ‘green’ turn by directing technological developments in this direction, sooner or later our common home will throw us out the window,” he insists.

2010

The pope also asserts his conviction the world needs to be healed from “the dominant speculative mentality” to be re-established “with a ‘soul’” in order to reduce the gap between those who have access to credit and those who do not.

Christians and people of good will should choose which enterprises to support based on four criteria, Francis proposes, namely: “inclusion of the excluded, promotion of the least, the common good, and care of Creation.”

“Right now, it is a matter of rebuilding from the rubble,” the pope suggests, a task that involves those in government as well as the rest of the population.

“It is time to remove social injustice and marginalization,” he states. “If we seize the current trial as an opportunity, we can prepare for tomorrow under the banner of human fraternity, to which there is no alternative, because without an overall vision there will be no future for anyone.”

Part of the Great Reset also entails an end to the arms race, he adds.

“It is no longer tolerable to continue to manufacture and traffic in arms, expending huge amounts of capital which should be used to treat people and save lives.”

“Against this planetary discord that is nipping the future of humanity in the bud, we need political action that is the fruit of international harmony,” he declares, urging for an end to “short-sighted nationalism” and other forms of “political selfishness” in favour of multilateral solutions.

It becomes more obvious each day now that this so-called global spiritual leader has never bothered to read the Bible. His vision of humanity’s future is diametrically opposed to that outlined in God’s Word. If Gorge Bergoglio is not the False Prophet of the Revelation then we cannot imagine who it could be? No one has fitted his description so well in our day?

Brave New World?

Huxley

Aldous Huxley wrote “Brave New World,” a nightmarish vision of a future society known as the “World State,” ruled by science and efficiency, where emotions and individuality have been eradicated and personal relationships are few.

When Huxley wrote the book, optimism about technological advancements were high and there was widespread belief that technology would solve many of the world’s problems.

Brave New World” demonstrates the naiveté of such hopes by showing what can happen when technology is taken to its extreme.

Huxley predicted the technological capability to bypass reason and manipulate behaviour through subliminal means.

Today, social media platforms and search engines use sophisticated artificial intelligence algorithms to push certain kinds of information in front of us.  Huxley’s ideas appear to have influenced the technocracy’s planning. The World Economic Forum’s 2030 agenda includes the strangely ominous dictum that “you will own nothing and be happy.”

Watch Mike Wallace interview Huxley [if you can stop coughing from the cigarette smoke] in 1958 – and how he probably unwittingly speaks of the days in which we undeniably now live.  Watch HERE
