Stop the Biden administration from completely destroying America in 2021 David Kupelian on the one thing today’s Democrats can’t handle – the truth Dear friend of WND, Most Americans agreed that 2020 was “The Year From Hell” – but the Joe Biden administration seems obsessed with making 2021 immeasurably worse. Already, in the few weeks since Inauguration Day, Team Biden has been maniacally intent on undoing Donald Trump’s accomplishments as rapidly as possible. Everything from ending our nation’s energy independence while putting thousands out of work by killing the Keystone XL Pipeline, to undermining America’s border security by ending deportations and inviting Central American caravans, to utterly destroying women’s sports nationwide by mandating that “biological males” (which used to be called “males”) be allowed to compete with women and girls; to censoring, canceling and criminalizing the free speech of opponents and critics while branding them as “violent extremists" and “domestic terrorists.” If we take a few steps back and consider all this endless and growing chaos, at some point a basic question desperately needs to be asked – and answered: Why is it that the so-called “progressive” Left in America – which includes not just the Biden administration and the entire Democratic Party, but also Big Media, Big Tech, Big Education and Big Entertainment – has seemingly gone stark, raving, drooling mad? Consider: They gaslighted the entire U.S. population by pretending there was no election fraud – none at all – and saying we were all crazy for pointing to the mountains of evidence; they insist that murdering babies at full term and encouraging children to chemically and surgically “transition” to the opposite gender (which is literally impossible) is perfectly normal and that we’re hateful, immoral and anti-science for opposing such crimes; they weaponized the coronavirus pandemic to exert unprecedented control over Americans and are now intent on using it to impose a socialist “Great Reset” worldwide; they have repeatedly claimed they will eliminate fossil fuels in the name of saving the planet, which will of course result in the exact opposite; they want to import as many immigrants as possible from terror-hotbed countries and insist they all get free cradle-to-grave health care – paid for by you. And if you disagree with any of this – if you dare speak up on behalf of the Constitution and the basic, traditional, God-blessed Judeo-Christian values that made America “a shining city on a hill” – you’re a white supremacist, neo-Nazi domestic terrorist. In trying to somehow explain the Left’s cascading madness and depravity, its passionate love affair with lies and delusion, conservative pundits typically cite factors like these: Hatred of Trump: Yes, as the second impeachment charade proves, they all still loathe Donald Trump, as well as all those who side with him – and hate makes you think, say and do crazy things. Toxic ideology: Yes, the “woke” identity-politics ideology that consumes today's left is arrogant, contemptuous of history and religiously devoted to socialism – despite socialism’s stunning 100% failure rate. Emotional thinking: Yes, multiple peer-reviewed studies confirm that liberals think more emotionally while conservatives think more logically in arriving at policy ideas. Hatred of America: Yes, the same leftists who brand the 75 million Americans who voted from Trump as racist and immoral tend also to feel the same way about their own nation, seeing America as a fundamentally racist, immoral country. Youth indoctrination: Yes, today’s colleges and universities are, unfortunately, the most far-left, intolerant, totalitarian places in America. However, there’s one factor that transcends all the others, which perfectly explains today’s growing madness – and shows what predictably happens when a society stubbornly rebels against God and His laws. Read the following few sentences slowly, bearing in mind that this analysis, quoted from the Bible (Romans 1, where the Apostle Paul writes to new believers in Rome) is mocked by our society's elites, who regard it as hateful, contemptible, bigoted, superstitious and dangerous: “The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities – his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. … “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. “Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.” OK. Now think about Biden, Harris, Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Nadler, AOC, “The Squad,” and all the other brazenly dishonest politicians and media elites and the wildly insane policies they espouse in light of these words you just read: “God gave them over to a depraved mind. … They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity … envy, murder (abortion), deceit and malice … gossips, slanderers (news media), God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful … they invent ways of doing evil …” Pretty good description, don’t you think? Toward the end of his life, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, the celebrated Russian author, dissident and gulag survivor, explained in a simple but powerful way why communism had destroyed so many tens of millions of innocent lives throughout the 20th century: "Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened." If we continuously and egregiously rebel against God and His laws of life and love, eventually God says, “OK, have it your way.” And the result is true full-brown madness, such as we see in today’s Democratic Party, and now in the Biden administration. So, that is WHAT has happened in today’s America. But WHY has it happened? WHY did we have such a massively unfair election in November? WHY is abortion-on-demand still legal in America? WHY have we allowed our colleges and universities to become Marxist indoctrination centers? WHY have the forces of the left been able to get away with continually gaslighting, projecting, and lying to the American people about virtually everything under the sun, all in order to gain ever more power? AND WHY HAVE THEY NOT BEEN HELD TO ACCOUNT? That is the biggest question. The main culprit in all of this – largely responsible for the shameful downward transformation of America in our lifetime – is THE NEWS MEDIA. Today’s news media is almost entirely a gigantic hoax. While pretending to be “objective, professional journalists,” most “mainstream” news people, in reality, are craven, unprincipled, lazy and utterly self-seeking propagandists for the increasingly unhinged Democratic Party. They are what Pravda was to the former Soviet Union. Look how far the American news establishment has fallen from the ideal Jefferson expressed to Lafayette in 1823, when he wrote: "The only security of all is in a free press." What can you do? Since 1997, our motto at WND has been “A Free Press for a Free People.” What America is suffering from right now is a widespread lack of TRUTH. The Left is at war with truth.
