POLICE DEFENSE FUND

Dear Conservatives,

Even though he’s not out of the clear yet, you’ve given Detective Eric DeValkenaere a fighting chance at staying out of prison after defending a handful of innocent lives in the line of duty.

And thanks to your support, Sheriff’s Deputies Adam Lunn and Jim O’Brien are a little less worried about how they’ll get by now that we’ve been able to help them pay for critical life expenses.

All of us here at the LELDF are grateful for your help.

But the reality is there is still a lot of work to do.

You might remember that we recently picked up a new case – Chief Angela Greene – who is fighting to get her job back after a wrongful termination.

We also expect some major updates in the charges Officer Garrett Rolfe is facing – he was wrongfully charged for defending himself in the line of duty during the riots in Atlanta last summer.

And that’s not to mention the handful of other officers who are relying on us.

The point is, we’re still going to need your help over the coming weeks and months.

But so far, you’ve given me hope that we’ll be able to get justice for all 9 of our officers this year.

So, thank you again Conservative.

I hope you’ll continue to support our Police Defense Fund over the next few months.

The livelihoods of some truly good officers are on the line.

Sincerely,

Jason Johnson
