Headline: 'The Wuhan Files': CNN Publishes Leaked Report Showing China Downplayed COVID-19 Outbreak

What's Up: A month after the election, CNN reports what the Trump administration has long suspected: China was falsely reporting their data on coronavirus infections.

Quote: "Reports dating from early February show that the number of cases reported in the province was at times 3x larger than what the public was being told." — ZeroHedge.com

The First take: Gee, we wish someone would have said something about this about 11 months ago. (Snark intended) Wait, someone did! President Trump repeatedly and publicly doubted the accuracy of China's virus reporting. And he was mocked for it. We believe CNN's latest bit of "journalism" as it relates to the coronavirus should also include an apology to Mr. Trump. Also, isn't it funny how this comes AFTER the election?

GA Sec of State opens 250 voter fraud investigations

Headline: Georgia Secretary Of State Opens 250 Investigations Into ‘Credible Claims Of Illegal Voting’

What's Up: Monday's press conference from the GA Secretary of State announcing the investigation into hundreds of "credible claims" of illegal voting did not exactly give hope to the Trump campaign. In fact, public statements made by Mr. Raffensperger were filled with veiled rebukes for the Trump team.

Quote: "Raffensperger appeared to slam Trump’s legal team without directly naming them, saying they were 'exploiting the emotions of many Trump supporters with fantastic claims, half truths, misinformation, and frankly, they are misleading the president as well.'" — DailyWire.com

The First take: We're not certain if this news is a serious effort by the GA state officials to investigate the credibility of the election results or if it is meant to say, "We looked and didn't find anything." As the Trump legal team is likely to say, we doubt this ends here.

The First take: This may be the rare occasion when our staff agrees about an NFL player -- especially a Green Bay Packer. However, Mr. Favre's understanding of the role sports should play in America is solidly in-synch with ours. It's a game. We watch to be entertained, not to be educated or preached to.

Headline: DOJ releases Mike Flynn pardon document, moves to drop case

What's Up: President Trump's pre-Thanksgiving pardon of General Michael Flynn inched another step closer to being completely expunged from the legal system as the DOJ moved on Monday to (once again) drop the case.

Quote: "The pardon document expansively shields Flynn from 'any and all possible offenses arising from the facts set forth … or that might arise, or be charged, claimed or asserted' from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation." — NYPost.com

The First take: We thought this was a "done deal." After all, when the president issues a pardon which also includes the word "innocent," we wonder what else is needed.
