Trump tells rally audience chanting "Fire Fauci" that he just might do it

HeadlineTrump hints he may "fire Fauci" after Election Day

What's Up: It was just after midnight (Sunday into Monday) when Donald Trump smiled as the massive crowd at his fifth and final rally of the day chanted "Fire Fauci!" over and over. The President appeared to agree with his supporters while teasing them saying he wanted to wait until after the election was over.

Quote: "'Don't tell anybody,' Trump began, 'but let me wait until a little bit after the election.'" — ZeroHedge.com

The First take: Of course we expect this moment to land near the top the list of complaints the Biden campaign will present on today's final push in Pennsylvania. To us, Dr. Fauci has been elevated to the level of "oracle" by Democrats hoping to use the pandemic to unseat President Trump. For his part, Mr. Trump did compliment Dr. Fauci, calling him "a nice man" while adding the doctor has been "wrong a lot." So, if the President secures a victory tomorrow, our money is on someone new in office of Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Headline"Absolutely Unsustainable": Joe Biden’s plans would increase spending by $11 trillion over 10 years, report says

What's Up: During his campaign rallies, Joe Biden is often heard quoting from "experts" he claims believe his plan for taxing the wealthy and transitioning away from fossil fuels will lead to millions of new and better jobs and a more prosperous country. Biden's statements are in conflict with the economists at the Manhattan Institute who calculate the the costs to the country will be significant.

Quote: "'$4 trillion in new taxes, which is the biggest tax increase since the end of World War II, as well as $11 trillion in new spending, certainly more regulation, a higher minimum wage. All of that is going to weaken the economy.'" Brian Reidl of the Manhattan Institute to the DailyCaller.com

The First take: Biden's "tax and spend" plan is typical of what we have seen from Democrats for decades. We hope the Trump campaign deploys the number crunching here. Thanks to the pandemic, we are in a very deep hole with debt increasing at levels not seen before. That debt must be dealt with eventually. And, you can't get out of a hole by digging deeper.

Maxine Waters calls Black Trump voters "shameful"

HeadlineMaxine Waters Calls Black Trump Voters 'Shameful,' Says She Will 'Never Ever Forgive Them'

What's Up: California congresswoman Maxine Waters appeared on the "Joe Madison Show" on Sirius XM radio and smeared Black voters who choose to support President Trump by calling them "shameful" and vowing to "never forgive them."

Quote: "'I don’t even know where any blacks would be coming from that would be voting for Trump,' she said. 'It just hurts me so bad to see blacks talking about supporting Trump. I don’t know why they would be doing it. I don’t know why it is on their minds.'" — pjmedia.com

The First take: For the first three years of the Trump Presidency, Waters was a regular on MSNBC or any show that would allow her to shout "Impeach 45" and accuse President Trump of being a racist. However, the California congresswoman has been missing-in-action for months. Some pundits suggest Waters was told to lay low until the election was over. What does it signal now that she's surfaced? We're thinking "Auntie Max" must feel confident in a victory for herself and her party or... if she sees her shadow, we're in for six more weeks of ballot counting.

Ilhan Omar says the Supreme Court is rated lower than Congress (wrong)

HeadlineIlhan Omar Falsely Claims Supreme Court Has ‘One Of The Lowest Approval Ratings’

What's Up: Mere days after Donald Trump's newest appointee to the Supreme Court was approved, Democrat congresswoman Ilhan Omar attempted to cast doubt on the highest court in the last, claiming it was .

Quote: "'Of our three branches, the judiciary or the Supreme Court has one of the lowest approval ratings with the United States electorate,' Omar said during a virtual conversation about immigration with Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI)." — DailyWire.com

The First take: One might think a Congressperson, especially one who is facing an election, would be keenly aware of how badly the American voters view Congress. Tone deaf much?
