Today we have a special announcement to share with you.
As you know, when Project Veritas exposes corruption and malfeasance, there are those who think it’s a smart idea to sue us.
They just don’t learn their lesson. If they knew anything about Project Veritas, they’d know that we never give up and we are undefeated in litigation.
Wentz was exposed in 2016 for threatening students on video. Project Veritas recorded Wentz uttering the words and released the footage that clearly showed what he said.
After that video went public, Wentz decided to sue Project Veritas for defamation. Pretty odd given that we simply quoted Wentz…how can we defame someone we are quoting?
Wentz lost this lawsuit and was ordered to pay Project Veritas to cover our legal fees. He and his attorney have sent us $15,718.42 as a result of his failed lawsuit – thanks Steve!

As you can see, even Democracy Partners’ Lauren Windsor was involved in this lawsuit.
Windsor convinces people like Wentz that it is worthwhile to sue Project Veritas, and then they end up paying Project Veritas once they are defeated in court.
Lauren, are you going to reimburse Steve Wentz and his attorney for the $15,718.42 they paid us?
All of this could have been avoided, but the message is clear: If you sue Project Veritas, YOU WILL PAY.
