July 1st - Countdown to Next Middle East War?
30 May 2020
The level of tension in the Middle East is sky high right now, and it is about to go even higher.
On Monday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he would move ahead with a plan to annex portions of the West Bank in the months ahead.
The coalition agreement that he reached with Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz allows him to submit annexation for a vote as early as July, and if Netanyahu is actually going to do this it will almost certainly happen before the U.S. election in November.
The Trump administration is prepared to support Israel's annexation under certain conditions, but a Biden administration would be 100 percent opposed to such a move.
So Netanyahu realises that this opportunity may never come again, and he is fully prepared to seize the moment.
But of course if Israel does annex large portions of the West Bank, that could easily spark a huge regional war.
Needless to say, the Arab Palestinians and their allies will never, ever accept the annexation of any West Bank territory, but Netanyahu seems absolutely determined to move ahead with his plans.
From Time Magazine; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday pledged to annex parts of the occupied [?] West Bank in the coming months, vowing to move ahead with the explosive plan despite a growing chorus of condemnations by key allies.
The Arab Palestinians, with wide international backing, seek the entire West Bank as the heartland of a future independent state.
Annexing large chunks of this territory would all but destroy the feint remaining hopes of the unworkable two-state solution.
And Haaretz is reporting that Netanyahu specifically stated that "the target date for beginning annexation is July 1, and we don't intend to change it"...
The Americans said recently that they're prepared for annexation "within weeks."
Under the coalition agreement between Likud and Kahol Lavan, on July 1 - meaning in a month's time - Netanyahu will be able to "bring the agreement reached with the United States on the issue of applying sovereignty to a debate in the security cabinet and the full cabinet, and for the approval of the cabinet and/or the Knesset."
On Monday, Netanyahu told a meeting of Likud's Knesset faction, in response to an MK's question, that "the target date for beginning annexation is July 1, and we don't intend to change it." He added that "this is an opportunity that can't be missed."
It looks like this is really going to happen, and Israeli settlers in the areas that are going to be annexed will greatly celebrate once it happens.
But at the same time we will see a massive outpouring of fury from the Arab Palestinians and their allies.
All this has been brewing largely unnoticed due to the COVID19 world-wide lock-down – but the seeds of a coming major Middle East conflagration have been sown for many weeks – and will come to fruition in around 5 weeks time!
There is no way in the world that the Arab Palestinians and their allies will allow annexation to go unchallenged.
It does not look like either side is going to back down, and so that means that we are on a course toward military conflict.
And once this war starts, it may not be so easy to stop?

NetanyahuNo Israeli Citizenship for Jordan Valley Arab Palestinians…...
May 29, 2020
Netanyahu said on Thursday that the Palestinians of the Jordan Valley will remain in an enclave after Israeli annexes the territory and not be granted Israeli citizenship.
He reiterated his decision to press ahead with plans to annex the Jordan Valley and settlements in Judea and Samaria in line with the Trump Mid-East peace plan.
The process may begin from July 1 under the new government coalition accord.
Netanyahu explained that the Palestinians in the valley and the city of Jericho would remain under limited Arab Palestinian self-rule and under Israeli security control.

Israel's Coronavirus Spike Hits 31 schools101 New Cases…..
May 29, 2020
Top Health Ministry officials were persuaded in a conference with the prime minister and other ministers on Friday, May 29, to delay an across-the-board closure of high schools until they held a second review on Saturday afternoon.
The health officials had planned to announce the shut-down in a special broadcast briefing to the public on Friday evening.
In the event, Prof. Sigal Sadetzky, [pictured above] head of public health, revealed at the briefing that the alarming spike in virus infection in the last 48 hours had reached 85 cases cases (updated since to 101) with the focus on 31 schools that were spread out widely across geographic regions.
This was Sadetzky’s answer to demands by some ministers and local authorities for spot closures of affected schools rather than a comprehensive measure.
Outgoing Director General Moshe Bar Siman Tov reported that the final decision on this question would be taken at the second conference with the ministers on the basis of the new data coming in on Saturday morning.
There would then be a second briefing to the public on Saturday night.

ReportRussia Building New Military Base in North-east Syria……
May 29, 2020
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the news coincides with tensions between Kurdish and Russian forces over the M4 highway. [pictured below]
Russia is building a new military base in the Kurdish enclave in north-east Syria, a UK-based monitoring group reported today.
Russian forces are making the base in Qeser Dib, a village outside of al-Malikiyah near the Turkish border.
The troops installed radar and brought 12 armoured vehicles to the area, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Al-Malikiyah is a mixed Kurdish-Christian area. It is also one of the closest towns to north-east Syria’s border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
This part of the autonomous administration of north and east Syria territory is the location of Russian, American and Turkish military activity.
Both the United States and Russia patrol the area, and the United States sometimes prevents the Russians from passing through — creating tensions.
Turkey and Russia have also conducted joint patrols near al-Malikiyah.
Relations between Russia and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) — the Kurdish-led and US-backed armed group that controls much of north-east Syria — are mixed.
The US military says Russia is trying to get Arab communities in north-east Syria to cut their ties with the SDF.
The co-chair of the SDF’s political wing, the Syrian Democratic Council, [pictured above] also told the Kurdish outlet Rudaw that Russia wants to create “sedition” in north-east Syria when it comes to the Arabs and the SDF.
The SDF is a multi-ethnic group with Kurdish, Arab, Christian, Yazidi and Turkmen fighters.
The SDF does not fight Russia, though, and its primary enemies are the Islamic State (IS) and Turkey.
Turkey attacked north-east Syria in October due to its opposition to Kurdish groups being stationed along its border and IS continues attacks in the area.
The SDF received help from Russia’s ally, the Syrian government, during the battle with Turkey and the Syrian government rules some parts of the otherwise SDF-controlled cities of Qamishli and Hasakah.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also reported today that Russia prevented commercial trucks from travelling along the M4 highway between Hasakah in SDF territory and government-controlled Aleppo.

Russia's Arctic Empire….
29 May 2020
Moscow sent a spectacular message last month to the world's other Arctic powers:
Russia is determined to dominate the region.
Russian transport aircraft, breaking the record for the highest altitude jump ever, parachuted a group of their Spetsnaz (Special Forces) over the Arctic. from a height of almost 33,000 feet (Mt. Everest is 29,000 feet).
Russian paratroops then executed a military exercise operation before reassembling at the Nagurskoye base, the northernmost military facility in Russia.

The Christ Virus….

In 2012, 8 long years ago, author Dave Slade began to write a fictional novel he called The Christ Virus.
He based it on his biblical view of the future with respect to the end-time pandemics and pestilences we see prophesied in the New Testament.
In a strange and bizarre twist, he predicted that a wealthy Republican from the state of New York would be elected President and face the challenge of a lifetime … finding a cure for a mutated virus that brings the whole world to its knees and shuts down civilisation as we know it.
Gary Stearman of Prophecy Watchers interviews Dave as they discuss the COVID-19 virus and how it relates to Bible prophecy and to our collective futures.
Is this pandemic an indication that we are close to the end of the Church Age?
