SECOND DISTRICT CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

Dear Friend,

Seeing as our schools will not open for the rest of the school year, I wanted to offer some help. I know how frustrating it is to adapt during this confusing time, and I applaud all parents and teachers for going above and beyond to invest in our future. While you all may feel limited right now, there are some outstanding resources I would like to share to help bring museums and other learning opportunities to you.

There are many hard-working Seniors who won’t get to experience traditions like Prom or Graduation. It’s heartbreaking. I would love to see our communities come together to find creative ways to celebrate with our students. If you’ve done something creative to celebrate your Senior, share it with us! I’d love to give other parents ideas and to give your student the spotlight on social media.
Resources for Parents & Teachers:
I’m sure many of you have been through this with your children, but it never hurts to go over it again. Please avoid close contact with others, wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, wear a mask if you need to leave your house, and cover your cough or sneeze. Most of all, stay at home if you are not feeling well. If you think someone in your family has the Coronavirus, please call your doctor and explain the symptoms before going to a hospital.

I will send you more updated resources in the coming weeks. With that said, for more regular updates, remember to sign up here to hear from me directly.

We are in this together.
