U.S. CONSTITUTION : THE SENATE SHALL HAVE 'SOLE POWER' TO TRY ALL IMPEACHMENTS!

Submitted by: Larry Jordan

Democrats on Capitol Hill propose to violate the constitution by denying President Trump a trial in the Senate where he is guaranteed acquittal.  The constitution grants the house “sole power of impeachment”. Okay, the house impeached, yesterday. But the Constitution directs “the Senate shall have the SOLE power to try  all impeachments”:

Nancy Pelosi threatens to hold impeachment hostage for a Quid Pro Quo.  That violates Article 1, Section 3. The house ran a kangaroo court...no witnesses for the President, no questions from the president, republican congressmen on a tight leash. Now they know the Senate will Acquit ...so they propose extortion…”Senator McConnel, do it our way or we won’t play”. You know what McConnell should do?
Grow a spine. Hold the Trial. Try the case made so badly in the House. Take the vote.
The Constitution grants ONLY the U.S. Senate that authority...not San Fran Nan.
And if Democrats refuse to show ...that’s fine...in War, in the Courts, or on the playing field...if you don’t show, you forfeit.
Americans had the RIGHT to vote in Donald Trump and they did.
Democrats didn’t like it
The Senate has the right to Acquit
Democrats won’t like it.  So what else is new?
