OCSM Sunday Message!
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
Isaiah 60:1 (KJV)

“Our liberty is in Christ”!

"Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery?
Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"

At the Virginia Convention on March 23, 1775, Patrick Henry spoke these famous words in his speech.
He addressed the audience with intentions of convincing them that they must enter the Revolutionary War
in order to defend their freedom. He spoke about how they were turning their eyes to an injustice;
How ignoring Britain’s treatment could not be good for their future.
It was their duty not only to themselves, but also to God to fight for the freedom they believed they so rightly deserved.

Joshua 24:15
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve;
whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood,
or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

2 Corinthians 3:17…Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
18….But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

America finds itself flirting with a cultural, moral, and Christian revolution. “One Nation under God” demands peaceful co-existence, but Marxism
is dominating the conversation. While the war on Christianity in America and persecution of Christians has not yet reached the feverish pitch
of persecution as it has in other parts of the world, there is a battle being waged and the Antichrist forces are making progress in America.
Our liberty is in Christ. Look to the cross and choose you this day whom ye will serve.
“As for me, give me liberty or give me death.”
To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power,
both now and forever. Amen.
