BLOOMBERG BUSINESS WEEK 12/26/2019

Submitted by: P McMillan

From Bloomberg BusinessWeek for Dec 16, 2019:

... Trump looks like he is in pretty good shape to be reelected...  A year ago...  The Mueller investigation seemed seemed like it might be a mortal blow to his presidency.  Six months ago, fears of recession were rising...  Today, things don't seem nearly so bad.  A block buster employment report...  sending the S&P 500 soaring...  The economy appears to be in a much better place than what experts anticipated...  Gallop's latest poll found that 55% rate economic conditions as "excellent" or "good."

Trump got through the Mueller investigation without any meaningful Republican defections...  the same (will happen) when the Senate votes on impeachment...

Trump... trending in the right direction in the places that matter the most...  In October,  Biden, Warren, and Sanders were all leading Trump in Wisconsin.  By late November, Trump had pulled ahead of all 3....  polling numbers  in states Trump needs to win for reelection suggest that the impeachment fight could end with him in better political shape than when it began.

My Comments:

Democrats tried to remove Trump from office since Trump was first elected.   Lucky for Americans that Democrats failed.   Jobs, wages, deals, retirement accounts, Iran, NATO, China.   Democrats now look like the little boy who continually screamed that the sky was falling ... Russia/Trump collusion, emoluments, Ukraine, the economy, tariffs, stock prices, travel ban, bribery, extortion ... all fake news.

Impeachment fairness in the Senate?  Democrats in the Senate don't want this turd from Pelosi.   9 Senate Democrats are from states that Trump won while only 2 Republican Senators are from states that Clinton won.   Joe Manchin (D-WV) already announced that he would vote no or abstain.

So what is Pelosi doing?  She is trying to find additional "wrong acts" committed by Trump and add more evidence/witnesses to those that Democrats used in the House instead of passing impeachment HR 755 to the Senate.... a real violation of due process in the Constitution.  Americans are getting tired of this attempt by Democrats to "find/create" wrong doings.   That is a witch hunt.
