This Week in the Office of Senator Marco Rubio

  • Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and I introduced the Palestinian International Terrorism Support Prevention Act of 2019 (S. 2680), bipartisan legislation to impose sanctions against foreign individual, entities, and governments that provide support to Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian terrorist groups.
  • I joined Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) and our colleagues in introducing a resolution that would designate today as a national day of remembrance for members of the United States Armed Forces who were killed or injured by the terrorist attack against the United States Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon on October 23, 1983.
