The removal from Damascus to Aleppo of Iran’s IRGC command HQ brings Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to Moscow on Thursday, April 4, for an urgent meeting with President Vladimir Putin – five days before Israel’s general election – to reset their coordination arrangements.
Reliable military and intelligence sources report that the Iranians completed the transfer of their commands and military facilities, lock, stock and barrel, from Damascus to Aleppo in the second half of March.
They hoped that this move would get them out of range of Israel’s serial air and missile raids, calculating that the IAF would be reluctant to risk running into the Russian S-400 and S-300 air defence batteries deployed nearby at the Khmeimim Air Base.
They were proved wrong. No sooner had the Iranian command staff moved into its new premises, when the Israeli air force on March 27, conducted one of its broadest raids hitherto on Iranian targets in Syria. Casualties of dead and injured were heavy and the devastation extensive.
According to our sources, that raid was just the opening shot. Israel has finished with Damascus as the arena for destroying Iran’s military facilities and shifted its campaign to Aleppo. However, the geography makes it incumbent on Israel to draw up fresh rules of coordination with the Russian forces posted in northern Syria.
This imperative was behind the official Kremlin account of the phone conversation conducted by Netanyahu and Putin on Monday, April 1 – “pressing bilateral issues including military contacts” – which made a face-to-face meeting between the new leaders essential.
The transfer of Iran’s centre of operation in Syria to Aleppo and its ramifications, including the effect on the next chapter of the Israeli-Iranian confrontation in that country, will be discussed in depth in the Saturday 06 April edition of the weekly Israel Report.
Putin and Netanyahu last met on February 27. On Sunday, the two leaders talked over the phone on “pressing bilateral issues, including military contacts and the Middle East situation,” according to the Kremlin.

Abbas threatens: “We will take fateful steps...........”

PA chairman blasts Israel ahead of publication of Trump peace plan.
Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas spoke Sunday at the summit of the Arab League in Tunisia and attacked Israel and the United States.
"Israel is not satisfied with the theft of land and resources, but also cut our tax money on the pretext that we are paying it to shaheeds and prisoners," Abbas said, in a reference to the Israeli Cabinet’s decision to implement the policy to offset the PA’s payments to terrorists.
"Israel's goal, with the assistance of the United States, is to pressure us, but we are telling Israel that we will not give up our people, especially those who made sacrifices."
"We are at the threshold of difficult times," Abbas added. "After Israel destroyed the agreements and ran away from all its commitments since Oslo, it continues its policy of destroying the two-state solution in a way that causes us to lose hope in the peace process. I make it clear that we will be unable to bear the current situation much longer, and therefore sooner or later we will have to take fateful steps."

New scientific discovery supports Bible's Adam and Eve narrative, science writer says.....

A "provocative and misunderstood" recent scientific study supports the Bible's Adam and Eve story by demonstrating that all humans are descended from a common mother and father, a prominent science writer and public speaker claims.
Author Michael Guillen, president of Spectacular Science Productions, who has taught physics at Harvard and was a science editor for ABC News, commented on the scientific discovery regarding human ancestors in a Saturday op-ed for Fox News.
Summarizing the discovery, announced by a team of U.S. and Swiss scientists, Guillen wrote that "all humans alive today are the offspring of a common father and mother — an Adam and Eve — who walked the planet 100,000 to 200,000 years ago, which by evolutionary standards is like yesterday."
"Moreover, the same is true of nine out of every 10 animal species, meaning that nearly all of Earth’s creatures living today sprang into being recently from some seminal, Big Bang-like event," he added.
As Mark Stoeckle at Rockefeller University and David Thaler at the University of Basel explained, they based their findings on analysis of DNA “bar codes” of 5 million animals from 100,000 different species.
Experts have interpreted low genetic variation among living humans as a result of our recent expansion from a small population in which a sequence from one mother became the ancestor for all modern human mitochondrial sequences,” Thaler said.
Our paper strengthens the argument that the low variation in the mitochondrial DNA of modern humans also explains the similar low variation found in over 90 percent of living animal species — we all likely originated by similar processes and most animal species are likely young.”
How about, ah,  let’s say, 6 thousand years?   They are getting warmer?? Just a few hundred thousand years out at the moment.
