BERTRAND DAILY REPORT 08/11/2018 CORRUPT FBI GETS ANOTHER PASS

Bertrand Daily Report The War For Our Mind & Soul Continues

Subject: Corrupt FBI Gets Another Pass, Lavoy Finicum's Family Cannot Sue Feds Now?

Ed Note:

LaVoy Finicum was gunned down by the FBI on a curved section of Hwy 395 north of Burns Oregon where I will be visiting his memorial site this week.

Patriots have left flags and flowers at the site where Lavoy, his daughter, and a Bundy were under fire by Oregon State SWAT and FBI teams before he exited the vehicle with his hands raised. His hand motion(s) are said to be (by prosecutors) his attempt to pull a 9mm handgun, while others have said the video shows he was losing his balance in the deep snow drift when one agent fires at him, Lavoy turns around and appears to be reaching for a weapon and was shot by another agent.

One FBI agent was indicted for lying but has since been acquitted by a Federal Jury and is being praised a "hero." His testimony is riddled with lies as he tried to use excuses for his actions.

"Defense lawyers Robert Cary, based in Washington, D.C., and Portland defense lawyer David Angeli called Astarita "a hero who puts his life on the line for his country every day."

Lavoy and others in two vehicles, were on their way to a town meeting in John Day Oregon after an invitation by that county's sheriff.

The meeting was to be with area ranchers to discuss Constitutional Rights and the ongoing [Land Grab] by the federal government and attempt(s) by the federal government to force ranchers off their land by Carpetbagger tactics. Rancher Hammond of Burns Oregon was the initial focus that brought Patriots to Burns Oregon when Hammond and his son were double jeopardized and sentenced twice (as terrorists) for starting a "back fire" on BLM land (at their ranch area) to kill-off deadly weeds, but the fire got slightly out-of-control and an over zealous federal judge went for a second sentencing, stating the time served in prison was NOT enough and then sentence the two to 5 years more.

Donald Trump pardons Dwight and Steven Hammond in arson case but justice has taken a turn as the FBI agent's acquittal will now interfere with lawsuits against the federal government.

The government has gone to great lengths to make a statement that Patriots...in particular RANCHERS shall give up their land use for opportunities by politicians, i.e., Cliven Bundy's Cattle Battle: Harry Reid, China and Agenda 21 ... , Senator John McCain's land grab from the Apache Nation and Hillary Clinton's land grab from the Hammonds for 'Uranium One' control.

What's important to note......

The Bundy's and Lavoy Finicum occupied the Malheur Wildlife Reserve (during the winter) when nobody was there in an attempt to bring attention to what was going-on with the Hammond's arrest. Not much different than when 'Occupied Wall Street' protestors occupied the New York offices under Obama, but nobody was shot for doing that.

The Bundy occupiers often went to town for supplies and the people in Burns were instructed by the local sheriff to fear them by telling the locals, the "Bundy's were dangerous" However, no businesses in Burns Oregon denied their patronage, and the FBI and State police had every opportunity to arrest them.

The FBI set-up a full blown military style Command Center at the Burn's airport and even met with Bundy and Lavoy Finicum in a peaceful manner to discuss what both sides agreed to as a peaceful solution.

However...under direction of the Oregon Mayor and FBI Washington under Obama......peaceful solution would NOT make an example of the Patriot 'occupiers' thus a plan was put into motion to set-up the two vehicles travelling to John Day for a meeting with ranchers (invited by John Day's sheriff) on a desolate curved section of Hwy 395 for the ambush.

The same exact scenario at the Waco siege  by the FBI and ATF when the leader of the Branch Davidian David Koresh was the target and could have been arrested when he went to town multiple times as agents monitored his moves. It was a political move that killed 76 people including children. At the time....the Clintons were dealing with upcoming indictments over the "White Water" scandal and needed a diversion. Hillary's long time partner, Vince Foster was about to reveal her secret and corrupt dealings since he was facing jail time himself.

Vince Foster committed [suicide] three months later........

"The only new information in Stone’s book about Hillary Clinton’s alleged role in the Waco siege, was that, “Senator Arlen Specter, who headed a Senate panel investigating the Waco incident, told me that credible testimony indicated that Hillary Clinton gave the ‘go order’ to Janet Reno and Webb Hubbell (to attack the Branch Davidian)”

Pete Olson (U.S. House Member)

"Says that Bill Clinton "basically" told then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch in 2016 that "we killed Vince Foster."

The FBI Director William S. Sessions was fired by Bill Clinton a few weeks after Vince Foster was mysteriously suicided.

Sessions stated: "Because of what I would term scurrilous attacks on myself and on my wife of 42 years, it has been decided by others, and now you know by the president of the United States, that I can no longer be as forceful as I need to be in leading the Federal Bureau of Investigation," said Sessions. "I will speak out in the strongest terms about protecting it {the FBI} from being manipulated and politicized both from the inside and out."

Do you sense a connection with the Clintons reference the Hammond arrest, Uranium One land grab and Lavoy Finicum's murder by State Police and many other events leading back to the child thrown on the railroad tracks after witnessing Clinton drug running operations in Mena Arkansas when Bill was Governor?

A coincidence?

Justice is a two tiered system in America and President Trump has vowed to "Make America Great Again."

Jury acquits FBI agent accused of lying in Finicum shooting case

He said he didn't independently recall where he was standing at the time of the disputed shots and said he heard no gunshots that day, though investigators found eight were fired at the roadblock. He said he was wearing a hearing-protection headset attached to his helmet.

"I had no indication I had fired. I didn't hear it, feel it, see it that day,'' he told jurors this week.

With Astarita's acquittal, the mystery remains as to who fired twice after Finicum swerved into a snowbank at the roadblock on U.S. 395 in Harney County, stepped from his truck with his hands in the air and shouted, "Go ahead and shoot me.''
One shot hit the roof of the truck's cab and shattered the rear driver's side window and the other missed entirely - both distinctly audible on the video captured by rear seat passenger Shawna Cox.

Moments later, two state police SWAT officers shot and killed Finicum after he had walked away from his truck and was seen reaching into his inner left jacket pocket where police said he had a loaded 9mm Ruger pistol. The fatal shooting was ruled justified by the Deschutes County district attorney.

A federal jury Friday returned not guilty verdicts in the trial of FBI agent W. Joseph Astarita, accused of lying to conceal that he fired two shots at the truck of refuge occupation spokesman Robert "LaVoy" Finicum" in January 2016.

The jury of nine men and three women deliberated for about six hours over two days after a three-week trial in Portland before U.S. District Judge Robert E. Jones. They acquitted Astarita on two counts of making a false statement and one count of obstruction of justice.

Astarita, 41, a member of the FBI's elite Hostage Rescue Team, looked straight ahead but squeezed the hands of defense lawyers Robert Cary and Meghan Ferguson sitting on either side of him as the court clerk read the verdicts about 2:45 p.m.
Once the jury left, Astarita's attorneys took turns enveloping him in strong hugs.

The team of prosecutors quietly filed out of the courtroom.

The verdict marks the latest in a series of daunting losses for prosecutors trying people involved in the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, though this case targeted a federal agent who had been working on the government's side of the confrontation.

Astarita had been on the Hostage Rescue Team for only eight months at the time of the Jan. 26, 2016, shooting at a highway roadblock in eastern Oregon. He spent hours on the witness stand over two days and testified that he's never fired his weapon in the line of duty during his 13 years with the FBI.
