House Conservatives File Impeachment Articles on Rosenstein

Conservatives in the House of Representatives filed articles of impeachment Wednesday against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. Reps. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., and Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, allege in the filing that Rosenstein has failed to respond to congressional demands for documents, and Meadows tweeted: "We have had enough." "Really for nine months, we have asked for documents," Meadows told Laura Ingraham on Fox News Wednesday night. "That's all we want, are the documents. What we have found is not only have subpoenas been ignored, but information has been hidden. Efforts have been stonewalled. I guess for us it's all about transparency so the American people can ... Read More

Haley: All Muslim States Do Is Get People ‘Riled up’

Nikki Haley, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, lambasted Islamic countries in a meeting of the Security Council on the Middle East, urging them to put their money where their mouth is regarding the Palestinian problem. Instead of providing relief aid and engaging in the peace process, as does the United States, the Arab and other Islamic states are inflaming the global community with lies and giving “speech after speech on the plight of the Palestinians,” she said Tuesday. “No group of countries is more generous with their words than the Palestinians’ Arab neighbors and other ... Read More

House GOP: Latest Tax Cuts to 'Lock in' Relief for Middle Class Families, Small Businesses

House Republicans said Wednesday their plan for a second round of tax cuts will “lock in” tax relief for middle class families and small businesses, as GOP leaders met with President Trump on their agenda for the rest of the year. Republicans on the tax-writing House Ways and Means Committee said the three-part plan would permanently extend last year’s tax cuts for individuals and business owners, boosting retirement savings by creating a new universal savings account and allow businesses to write off more of their start-up costs. The outline of the plan emerged as House Speaker Paul D. Ryan and ... Read More

Bipartisan Letter Sent to Trump Warning of the Russian Threat toward U.S. Energy Industry

The White House received a bipartisan push Wednesday to ramp up defenses against Russian hacking of U.S. utility networks. Democrat Sen. Maria Cantrell of Washington and Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina sent a letter to Mr. Trump about their concerns towards Russia’s hacking capabilities. The letter specifically addressed the threat to U.S. energy infrastructure. "I’m concerned about Russia’s capabilities with respect to #cyberattacks on our energy infrastructure. @DHSgov & @FBI confirm our reason to be alarmed, citing a 'multi-stage intrusion campaign by Russian government cyber actors who targeted small commercial facilities’ networks.” ... Read More
