US, France, UK Prepare Air, Navy Units for Sustained Assault in Syria…..

US President Donald Trump’s “major decision” on Syria is contingent on the rallying of sufficient air and naval strength and allied participation.
Reliable military sources report that the only US warship immediately available for the promised US military response to Bashar Assad’s apparent, but hardly conclusive, use of chemical weapons in Douma is the guided missile destroyer USS Donald Cook, which sailed from Larnaca Monday, April 9, on its way to the eastern Mediterranean. The USS Iwo Jima strike group,[pictured below] which visited Haifa last month, is now cruising in the Arabian Sea, days away from the scene, whereas the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group only departs the US port for the Middle East on Wednesday, April 11, and is not due in the Mediterranean before next week.
The Trump administration is negotiating with Britain, France and other allies, including Arab governments, for their roles in the Syrian operation.
Reliable Washington sources report that the commander-in-chief is looking at a major operation in Syria, to unfold over several days and lead to a concerted allied assault on the Iranian military presence embedded in that country.
This extended goal may give US allies pause?
Trump’s line to UK Prime Minister Theresa May is this: You owe me for supporting you against Russia in the spy poisoning affair; now, back me up in holding Russia and Iran to account for the [doubtful] chemical attack in Syria.
Britain maintains an air base in Cyprus. France’s only aircraft carrier, the F.S. Charles de Gaulle-R 91, is in dock for lengthy repairs. [pictured below]
On April 6, 350 French airmen started a joint training exercise aboard the USS George H.W. Bush in the West Atlantic.
Bringing them over would entail complicated, time-consuming coordination between their two headquarters.
Trump has promised to reach a decision on the Syrian operation byThursday after consulting his security chiefs and allies.
What he has in mind is much more than a one-off strike like the Tomahawk assault he ordered on a Syrian air base a year ago to punish the regime for a chemical attack that left 80 civilians dead.
This operation is likely to be sustained and continue well into the second half of April.
Russian U.N. Ambassador Vassily Nebenzia said on Monday that Moscow has warned the United States of “grave repercussions” if it carries out an attack against Syrian government forces over [suspicious] reports of a deadly chemical weapons attack.

“Through the relevant channels we already conveyed to the U.S. that armed force under mendacious pretext against Syria – where, at the request of the legitimate government of a country, Russian troops have been deployed - could lead to grave repercussions,” he said.

As the situation in Syria continues to escalate, guided missile destroyer USS Donald Cook has weighed anchor off Syrian territorial waters, and is reportedly being "harassed" by low-flying Russian warplanes, which have buzzed the "Arleigh Burke" class warship at least four times according to many news outlets.
Of note, the Donald Cook has 60 Tomahawk cruise missiles on board.
It is claimed that the US Donald left Cyprus 's Larnaca port and ended up near Syrian territorial waters.
A Navy source confirmed the deployment with the Washington Examiner, who said that the guided-missile-destroyer had just completed a port call in Cyprus, while the Pentagon reportedly draws up plans for how to deal with the situation.
U.S. military planners have drawn up more than one option for possible military action against Syria, including a strike similar to last year’s attack in which 59 sea-launched cruise missiles inflicted heavy damage on a Syrian Air Force airfield in Homs.
Pentagon officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the options now are similar to those presented to President Trump after last year’s chemical attack in northern Syria that killed and injured hundreds of civilians, including women and children.
But officials said the president could decide to choose a more robust option this time, given that Syrian President Bashar Assad didn’t seem to get the message last time.
What is surprising is that according to the latest Stratfor naval map, there was no other major naval support - either amphibious or carrier strike groups - in the vicinity of Syria as of April 5.
Meanwhile, Russia appears to be making preparations for an imminent, US-led attack and according to unconfirmed reports, there have been"intensive flights of Russian aircraft along the Syrian coast & over Khmeimim base, in addition to the intense flights of military aircraft belonging to the Assad regime in the sky of Homs”.
There is reported to be great anticipation in Russia and Syria of a heavy and sustained attack on the country coming soon.

Ali Akbar Velayati, [pictured above] a senior adviser to the supreme leader, made this threat on arriving in Damascus on Tuesday.
He was quoted by Iran’s state-run news agency IRNA. Its semi-official Tasnim news agency puts the number of Iranians killed in the missile attack on the T-4 air base at seven.
The airstrike on the Syrian air base apparently killed four Iranians, including a Revolutionary Guard colonel.
He was identified by the official IRAN daily as Colonel Mehdi Dehghan, [pictured above] a member of the Guard’s aerospace force.
The semi-official Fars news agency previously reported that three other Iranians were among those killed.
The situation in the Middle East has taken on a mysterious momentum, much of it based on fabrications, false flag accusations, and flimsy evidence of any atrocity being perpetrated.
It feels as if an unseen hand is bringing together the circumstances that could well bring abut the fulfilment of many dire Biblical prophecies?
