FREEDOMWORKS 09/26/2017 TAX REFORM MUST WIN! MUST!!!

Tax Reform Is a Must Win for Republicans (And It Really Could Happen)
- by Grover Norquist via Fox News
Tax reform is the one legislative victory Republicans must have if they are to hold the House and pick up five to seven Senate seats in November 2018. And tax reform is also the one legislative victory that looks increasingly likely.
Tax reform is a must-win for two reasons. First, to kick-start strong economic growth and job creation. Second, to demonstrate that President Trump and the Republicans in Congress can "get things done." Read more here...

Graham-Cassidy Isn't ObamaCare Repeal, But Revisions Will Make It Palatable
- by Jason Pye via The Hill
There are several provisions of Graham-Cassidy that conservatives can embrace. The amendment increases the maximum allowable contribution for health savings accounts (HSAs) and allows individuals to pay for their health insurance coverage out of their HSA. It also modernizes Medicaid, putting the more than 50-year-old program on a budget and limiting its annual growth.
Still, Graham-Cassidy is not ObamaCare repeal, nor does it represent the true principles of federalism. But it is the last serious opportunity for health insurance reform under reconciliation, which allows the Senate to bypass the filibuster. After more than seven years of promises, this amendment is the last hope. Read more here...

Support Our Troops by Supporting Base Reallocation and Closure (BRAC)!
We spend billions and billions of dollars each year to make sure our military has what it needs to protect this great nation.
Sadly, over $2 BILLION of that money is wasted each year on bases and infrastructure that our military leaders don’t need or want.
That’s enough for 300 Apache attack helicopters or four nuclear submarines.
That’s why I’m asking you to contact your representative right now. Tell them to stop wasting your tax dollars on bases the military doesn’t need. Tell them to support Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC). Take Action Here!

He also serves the Appropriations, Finance, Judiciary, and Local Government committees. Read more here...

Peter Schiff sheds light on monetary policy, an important area of economics that few Americans actually know anything about. This lesson offers a crash course in how the Federal Reserve Bank operates, how it came to be in the first place, and how it has become more powerful and more dangerous over the hundred years of its existence. Watch it here...

Expand America's Broadband Internet
Right now, there are 23 MILLION Americans who don’t have access to broadband Internet, just because of where they live. Connecting them to the Internet would help put more money in their pockets, create new American jobs, and further grow America’s economy.
Thankfully we can achieve all this by simply changing an FCC regulation. By getting the government out of the way and allowing the market to work, all of America will get better, faster, and cheaper broadband Internet.
That’s why FreedomWorks is asking you to contact these senators and urge them to support expanding America’s broadband Internet today. Take Action Here!
Regulations Cut: Another Yuuuge Trump Promise Fulfilled
- via Investor's Business Daily
Regulation: It's no accident that Washington, D.C., has become known as the graveyard of promises. It's exceedingly rare that a promise made in the nation's capital is a promise kept. That's why it's great to report that President Trump has kept a big one — to cut two regulations for every new one passed.
How did Trump do? "While there have been some hiccups, overall the Trump administration is on track to finish the first phase (of his regulatory reform program) with $645 million in net annual regulatory savings." Read more here...
