BERTRAND REPORT 07/20/2017 INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING 07/20/2017

Bertrand Daily Report The War For Our Mind & Soul Continues

Subject: Your Morning Intelligence Brief (July 20th, 2017)

Ed Note: The war we are in is very real and involves a dedicated Socialist Left, involving corrupt judges, cops, and an out-of-control child abduction network a.k.a. "Children Protective Services," U.N. Agenda 21 land grabbing program, expanded asset forfeiture, gun control, deprivation of rights under color of law (Title 18 Sec 241 & 242), and other anti-Constitutional acts of aggression against Americans on a daily basis.

Most Americans allow the system to usurp their Constitutional Rights in-order to compromise for something in exchange, a very clever way of controlling the masses. The recent incident in Michigan where a grandfather must surrender his legal weapons to the court in exchange for adoption of his grandson is typical and in violation of the Bill of Rights, but the "Catch 22" is a court holding the child over the grand father's head. The outrage over what this corrupt judge in Michigan has done needs to be resolved.

The latest NRA advertisement has enraged the ANTIFA activists and the cop killing Black Lives Matter gang to no end, but like the old saying...."what's good for the goose is good for the gander."

Black Lives Matter responds to NRA advertisement.....

Michigan Man Told To “Give Up Some Of Your Constitutional Rights” In Exchange For Adopting Grandson

Mac Slavo
July 19th, 2017

Caseworkers from MDHHS and a county judge told William Johnson of Ontonagon, Mich., that he had to choose between his Second Amendment rights and fostering his grandson, according to a complaint filed with the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan. The 54-year-old Johnson is a retired, disabled Marine with a Michigan Concealed Pistol License. He and his wife were asked by the state of Michigan to foster their grandson. According to Johnson’s suit, however, the issues began as soon as he arrived at MDHHS to pick up the child.

Johnson said he was searched for a firearm and, although he was not carrying a gun, officials demanded to see his concealed carry license. He was then told he would need to give MDHHS the serial numbers of all of his firearms, including rifles and shotguns, and register them with the agency. After questioning why he would have to register his firearms in order to foster his grandson, Johnson said he was told by one caseworker, “if you want to care for your grandson you will have to give up some of your constitutional rights.” When he objected, he was told there would not be a “power struggle” and MDHHS “would just take his grandson and place him in a foster home” if he didn’t comply with their requests.

Two weeks later, during a hearing on placement of the child, Johnson said a Gogebic County Court judge similarly told him, “if you want to care for your grandson you will have to give up some of your constitutional rights.”

Federal Times         House to vote on $1.6B border wall next week
House Republicans are moving next week to fund President Donald Trump's $1.6 billion request to begin construction of his oft-promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. -- Aides said Tuesday evening that GOP leaders have decided to attach the money — to build 74 miles of fencing and levee wall in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas and near San Diego — to a spending bill for the Defense Department and a handful of other agencies like the Department of Veterans Affairs. -- The wall money is strongly opposed by Democrats and some Republicans. But Trump is insistent on it and the GOP plan would give Trump a much-needed victory on Capitol Hill after the failure of the Trump-backed effort to repeal and replace the Obama health law.......
Breitbart          L.A. Sees 60% Jump in Deportation Cases Under Trump
Los Angeles deportation cases have jumped 60 percent under President Donald Trump as Barack Obama's “administrative closure” rules are set aside. -- Through “administrative closure,” the Obama administration closed deportation proceedings, allowing illegal aliens to remain in the country so long as they checked in with immigration officials on a regular basis. -- According to Southern California Public Radio, the pendulum has now swung to the opposite side under Trump, and deportation cases are full steam ahead.......
LifeZette          Democratic Lawmaker Wants Second Statue of Liberty on Mexican Border
Rep. José Serrano (D-N.Y.) called for Congress to “build another Statue of Liberty” on the U.S.-Mexico border, instead of President Donald Trump's signature border wall, during a Homeland Security markup hearing Tuesday. -- The Puerto Rican-born Serrano, who serves New York City's South Bronx in Congress, used his floor time Tuesday to decry the president's oft-repeated calls to build a border wall. A down payment for funding the barrier was included Tuesday in the House Budget Committee's spending proposal for 2018. -- “This country should never build a wall to keep people out,” Serrano said. “Should it deal with the immigration issue? Yes. But never, ever, ever build a wall. On the contrary, build another Statue of Liberty on the southern border. That's our message to the world, that statue --- not the wall.”......
Daily Journal         Former Arizona official denies discrimination
Daylong testimony from the former Arizona official behind the shuttering of Mexican-American Studies program in Tucson ended Tuesday. -- Tom Horne, the former public schools superintendent, wrapped up his testimony in the trial against a 2010 Arizona law that ended ethnic studies in the state by reiterating that he felt the program was racist and he considers himself a crusader against racism. -- The Tucson Unified School District's program taught Mexican-American history, art and literature to high school students. The district said students enrolled in the program performed better in school. -- But TUSD ultimately ended the program after the law targeting ethnic studies took effect.......
National Review        Illegal Aliens Can Now Defend the Laws They Break
California and New York will become the first states to allow illegal immigrants to practice law and be sworn in as lawyers. In so doing, they will grant the privilege of upholding the law and defending the U.S. Constitution to people who have intentionally violated the rules, and who have no right whatsoever to be here.-- One such lawyer is Lizbeth Mateo. Born in Mexico, Mateo and her family illegally crossed the border when she was 14 and have been residing in California ever since. In 2013, Mateo returned to Mexico knowing she had no legal visa to come back and, as part of what became known as the Bring Them Home Campaign, returned to the U.S. border with eight other children and demanded unauthorized reentry into the U.S. --- which she was granted. Having graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law and working jobs that required the use of a stolen social security number, Mateo now spends her time as an immigration lawyer “preparing legal strategies to help undocumented immigrants stay in the country” --- all while flaunting her own undocumented status.......
Chron.com       Trump stops deals with immigrants, deportations soar
Under President Donald Trump, government prosecutors' discretion to defer deportation of immigrants has largely been abolished, according to February - June immigration court data released Tuesday by the non-profit Transactional Access Records Clearinghouse. -- Under previous administrations, it was more common for immigrants with U.S. citizen wives or minor children or with other special circumstances to reach deals. -- During the first five months of the Trump administration, the number of immigrants whose deportation cases were closed via prosecutorial discretion dropped to less than 100 per month, compared to about 2,400 per month during the same period in 2016.......
Breitbart          GOP, Dems Plotting 'DREAM Act' for Illegal Aliens
Establishment Republicans and Democrats are teaming up on Capitol Hill to bring back legislation that would give amnesty to hundreds of thousands of young illegal aliens in the United States. -- Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Sen. Dick Durbin (R-IL) are working on a replica version of the Obama-era “DREAM Act,” according to McClatchy, which has long been supported by Democrats and the Republican establishment.-- When asked about working with Graham on resurrecting the amnesty legislation, Graham responded “We're working on it. We'll see.”......

Baltimore -- A Guatemalan man wanted for homicide and attempted homicide in his native country was arrested July 13 in Annapolis by an Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) fugitive operations team assigned to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) offices in Baltimore. -- Guatemalan authorities recently provided the ICE attaché office in Guatemala with a warrant charging Fredy Mariony Alvarado-Calderon, a previously removed alien with multiple felony convictions in the United States, with killing or attempting to kill an individual by shooting him with a firearm on Oct. 13, 2016, in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. ICE authorities in Guatemala also obtained information related to Alvarado-Calderon's whereabouts and his known aliases.......
ImmigrationReform.com         Trump Administration Ignores Blue Collar American Workers, Adds 15,000 H-2B Visas
The Trump administration has decided to issue 15,000 additional H-2B foreign worker visas through the end of September, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced earlier today. The decision contradicts a key Trump campaign promise—protecting the most vulnerable American workers from foreign competition. “Congress gave me the opportunity to provide temporary relief to American businesses in danger of suffering irreparable harm due to a lack of available temporary workers,” said Homeland Secretary John Kelly in a statement. “As a demonstration of the Administration's commitment to supporting American businesses, DHS is providing this one-time increase to the congressionally set annual cap.” According to DHS eligibility requirements, the visa increase will not be limited to specific industries, but rather to employers who claim they will suffer “irreparable harm” without additional H-2B visas. However, no evidence is required to verify this claim. ......
LA Daily News       Immigrants are 42 percent of California's STEM workforce
Forty-two percent of California's workers in science, technology, engineering and math occupations were born in a foreign nation, according a recent analysis. -- The American Immigration Council, a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit, studied the occupational, gender, educational and geographic distribution of foreign-born STEM workers in the United States, using 2015 survey data by the U.S. Census Bureau. -- Nationally, about one-quarter of the nation's STEM workforce is foreign-born, according to the report, “Foreign-born STEM Workers in the United States.” It has grown significantly in recent years, doubling from 11.9 percent in 1990 to 24.3 percent in 2015, according to the advocacy group, which studies immigration to the United States.......
