IF ITALY DEPARTS THE EU WILL THAT SIGNAL THE END?

Submitted by: Donald Hank

There has been a general view in the world press that a NO vote in Italy would be another nail in the EU's coffin comparable to -- or  worse than -- Brexit and the Trump election.
President Renzi's party (note that he has now quit!), the PD, Democratic Party, has been neck and neck with comedian Beppe Grillo's 5 star Movement (m5s), is now in trouble because just now, the NO vote was won by an astounding margin of 46% to 54%. This signals the biggest anti-Establishment blow in the entire West, as far as I know.
m5s is anti-EU and is gaining ground fast, threatening to oust the EU from that country. So now we have Brexit Trump's win the NO vote win in Italy.

The only good news for the EU today is that Austrian anti-EU candidate Norbert Hofer just lost his bid for president,
But even so, what will hold the EU together now that these ani-EU parties are growing? Two more elections await us: Holland and France, each of which could wind up out of the EU. And then the deluge.

The referendum gives voters a say on a package of electoral reforms which the Prime Minister says should help shake up Italy's gridlocked system of government.
