Two quick Saturday morning items…
1.) CNN’s Chris Cuomo in 2014:
“We couldn’t help her (Hillary Clinton) any more than we have. She’s got just a free ride so far from the media. We’re the biggest ones promoting her campaign…”
Obviously, not a damn thing has changed in two years.
2.) Heard it through
the grapevine:
Former Texas Gov. Rick
Perry is giving serious consideration to challenging Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in the GOP primary in
2018.
Count me in.
Cheers.

BLACK LIES MATTER
So the Department of
Justice – which has all the credibility of a Charlie Sheen sobriety vow –
issued a scathing report this week criticizing Baltimore City’s
under-appreciated Men in Blue for allegedly racist law enforcement practices.
It’s a load of
disingenuous crap and the latest example of President Barack Obama’s
anti-cop administration fanning the flames of racial tension in this country. Absolutely shameful.
For a more realistic
look at the situation, you’d be better off taking a lot at a study published
last month entitled “An Empirical
Analysis of Racial Differences in Police Use of Force” by Roland G.
Fryer, Jr. for the National Bureau of Economic Research. His main conclusion…
“On the most extreme use of force – officer-involved shootings – we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account.”
The author goes on to suggest that “movements such as Black
Lives Matter should seek solutions within their own communities rather than
changing the behaviors of police and other external forces.”
Indeed. As the Chicago Sun-Times reported this week…
“Nine people were killed and 13 others, including a 10-year-old boy, were wounded in shootings across Chicago on Monday, with seven of the fatal shootings occurring in a span of less than 14 hours.”
On ONE day!
When it comes to the Black Lives Matter gang, physician,
heal thyself.
