At least 14 people were killed and more than 220 were wounded in a series of attacks in Turkey that included two car bombings that hit police stations. In the latest incident Thursday, Turkish media reported that Kurdish rebels detonated a roadside bomb in the southeastern part of the country, killing five soldiers. A village guard was killed in clashes between government forces and rebels. A car bomb blasted police headquarters in the eastern city of Elazig early Thursday, killing at least five people, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, according to the Associated Press. Scores of people were injured, according to the Anadolu news agency. A car bombing in Van province late Wednesday killed a police officer and two civilians and wounded at least 73 people, the AP reported. Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said the Kurdistan Workers’ Party is intent on causing Turkey harm. [...]
