Joe owned and ran a small business, so he knows what it takes to create jobs. Joe's goal is to foster an environment for private sector companies to hire and grow.
His Three Kids Mine bill, which was signed into law, creates a public-private partnership to clean-up and redevelop an abandoned mine and is expected to create 3,000 jobs.
And his Jobs Originating through Launching (JOLT) Travel Act would expand international tourism, increase national security, and create an estimated 1.2 million jobs nationwide, adding as much as $860 billion to the economy.
