He Will Keep America Safe!

WASHINGTON — In a rare formal policy speech, Republican front-runner Donald Trump vowed Wednesday
to put American security “above all else” if elected president, warning
allies they would be left to defend themselves if they don’t “pay their
fair share.” He also called for an easing of tensions with Russia “from
a position of strength, only.”

“’America first’ will be the major and overriding theme of my administration,” Trump said.
"We can't afford to be so nice
and so foolish anymore. Our country is in trouble, ISIS is laughing at
us," Trump told Fox News in an interview.
Trump lashed out political leaders, in
particular Hillary Clinton , his potential Democratic rival in the
November general elections, for not having an effective policy against
ISIS.
"I'm so tired of watching these
politicians get up and say exactly what they're going to do with ISIS.
And in the meantime, ISIS sits back, and they laugh and they go out and
they prepare for it. You've got to hit people with a little surprise.
There has to be some unpredictability," he said.

“We must, as a nation, be more
unpredictable,” Trump said. He spent much of his speech panning
President Barack Obama’s handling of crises in the Middle East, saying
the current administration was leaving a legacy of “weakness, confusion
and disarray.”
Trump said Clinton's allegation that his proposal to ban Muslims is promoting terrorists is the "dumbest" thing he ever heard.
"I just think it's absolutely dumb. In
fact, if anything, it's just the opposite, because they're going to have
to learn we can't take this anymore. And they're going to have to turn
in the people that are bombing the planes. And they know who the people
are," he said.
"And we're not going to find the people
by just continuing to be so nice and so soft. And I have many Muslim
friends and they agree. They have a tremendous problem with the radical
Islamic terrorism, tremendous problem. And what she said is so dumb,"
Trump said.
Hillary Clinton took flak from
fact-checkers back in December when she claimed that Donald Trump’s
comments were being used as a recruiting tool by ISIS.

“We’ve made the Middle East more
unstable and chaotic than ever before,” Trump said. He singled out
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s handling of the deadly attacks
on a U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya.
Mr Trump also spoke passionately about
fighting Islamic State as if this would amount to a change in policy -
it's one of President Obama's major priorities.

Since the end of the Cold War, the US
has been weak, he said. Now it will be strong. The US has been taken
advantage of by its allies, he contended, but he will make them pay
their fair share - while assuring them that they can trust the US.
Americans have a chance to set
our country back on course and restore the possibility of the American
dream for our children and grandchildren. For too long the political
class has denied everyday Americans a real voice in government. This
election, voters are finding a leader who is listening to them over the
clamor of Washington special interests, and voters are speaking loud and
