The New York Times reports that the decree was the result of a "highly orchestrated campaign" by transgender rights advocates working deep inside the Obama Administration. High-ranking White House officials met on April 1 with transgender rights advocates, who also wrote a letter to Obama appealing to his "legacy" and comparing this issue to segregated bathrooms of the Civil Rights debate. Within weeks, the decree was finalized.
Simply put, the Obama
administration worked hand-in-hand with radical, transgender activists
on an orchestrated campaign to push this outrageous agenda on our school
children!
Fortunately, many state officials are fighting back. As we have noted, as many as 12 states have already announced plans to oppose Obama's bathroom edict. Pennsylvania legislators fired back at Obama with a sternly-worded letter, stating that Obama's edict "is an unconstitutional intrusion by the federal government" while Louisiana's AG said Obama lacks the "legal authority" to impose such an edict.
Now, we need citizens like you to take a stand and urge your Nevada governor to take action!
