Any Given Sunday: Part II

It’s a case of real-life imitating Hollywood, as this year’s Super Bowl match-up has the feel of a remake of Oliver Stone’sAny Given Sunday” flick starring Al Pacino.

The make-believe story was about the conflict between a traditional old-school white quarterback, Jack “Cap” Rooney (Dennis Quaid), and an exciting, young black upstart, Willie Beaman (Jamie Foxx).

Real-life Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco in two weeks will feature a traditional, old-school quarterback, Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos, vs. the exciting, young black upstart, Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers.

I’m rooting for Manning.  Old Guys Rule!

Cheers.
