TURKEY INVADES IRAQ

Submitted by: Donald Hank

The Iraqi government has told Turkey to pull out its troops from Iraq, but the US set the stage decades ago for its allies to invade any country they choose, as long as they have an excuse (ISIS in this case). This policy completely erases national sovereignties in contravention of international law. Thus, even though the Iraqi government doesn't want the 600 Turkish troops now present there, the US has given Turkey its tacit permission to ignore this order to pull out.
This is the Pentagon's answer to Russia's involvement in Syria and it's a slap in the face to Erdogan by divulging the latter's illicit oil trade via his son Bilal.
Now one man holds all the cards:
Iraqi Prime Minister Heider al-Abadi only needs formally invite Russia to do in Iraq what it is doing in Syria and Putin will put an end to this. He's got the arms and the determination and it would be his pleasure to smack down Erdogan again.
But Putin is a stickler for obeying international law and he won't go in without Abadi's permission.
The longer Abadi waits, the more messy things will get.
