STOP FED GIVEAWAY OF OUR MONEY!

  Conservatives,

Are you tired of politicians in Washington spending your tax dollars on subsidies for their corporate friends? Now is the time to end a program that does just that.

The Export-Import Bank (Ex-Im) is a little-known government agency that provides taxpayer-backed loans and loan guarantees to foreign countries and companies for the purchase of U.S. products.

Taxpayers are put at risk so politicians can win favor with deep-pocketed campaign contributors. It's cronyism!

The bank's charter ends on June 30, and Congress can close it by simply doing nothing. That's right – no bill has to be passed, no funding has to be withheld. All the new Republican Congress has to do is NOTHING and let it expire.

Unfortunately, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce spent a lot of money last year helping the GOP establishment and they expect payback.

We need your help right now to win this critical policy fight.

Please start by urging your representatives to let Ex-Im expire. But then there's something else you can do that could be a lot more effective.

Send a message to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

Senator McConnell controls the legislative schedule and he has the power to block consideration of any bill or amendment that reauthorizes Ex-Im. He's planning to bring it up for consideration, but then vote against it so he can pretend he opposes it.

We can't let him get away with this trick. If he allows Ex-Im to be considered, he owns it and should be held responsible.

Please do two things right now.
  1. Add your name to the petition calling on Mitch McConnell to block any effort to extend Ex-Im.

  2. Donate $25, $50, $100 or more to help us recruit more people to put maximum pressure on him.
By signing this petition, you will let us know you agree that Ex-Im should expire and you will send a message to the one person in the Senate who can truly stop it.

Senator McConnell has used his position to block conservative amendments to the Department of Homeland Security funding bill and to the Corker-Cardin Iran bill. Surely he can block legislation to continue Ex-Im.

Send McConnell a message.

It's his choice ... and it's not a hard one.

Nearly all of the announced or likely Republican candidates for president have publicly opposed reauthorization of the crony bank, including Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, and even Jeb Bush.

McConnell can side with these Republicans or he can side with President Obama, Harry Reid, and Hillary Clinton who all want to continue the crony bank.

This is important so please sign our petition right now.

Thank you for standing strong for freedom.

Sincerely,
Ken Cuccinelli II
