1. What I'm Looking for on Election Night by Matt Kibbe
“Hi this is Matt Kibbe, the President of FreedomWorks. I want to talk for just a minute on what I’m looking at coming up in this election cycle. I have three bold predictions: First of all, the Republicans will take the Senate, but it’s going to be much closer than it should be. Look for at least one seat currently held by Republicans to go to the Democrats. And look for all of these other races- there is upwards of nine Senate seats currently held by Democrats in red states, Democrats who voted for ObamaCare, that are up for grabs, they could be won by Republicans.”
“Republicans need six to take the Senate, but I’m not sure how far they are going to get. I think they do get to six, but watch states like Louisiana which come in later and we might not know on election night whether or not Republicans have taken the Senate.” See more here...

2. Race-Baiting Down the Homestretch - by Deneen Borelli via The Washington Times
Desperate times call for desperate measures, and with the possibility of Republicans gaining control of the Senate in the upcoming midterm elections, the left is resorting to jaw-droppingly despicable race-baiting tactics.
From the White House to the Georgia Democratic Party, to the gutter from which Al Sharpton spins his hateful rhetoric, the Democrats’ race-baiting machine is in full gear in a furious effort to drive blacks to the polls. Read more here...
3. A Copper. A Copper! How Do You Like That, Boys? - by Logan Albright
The effects of the Affordable Care Act have been so unpleasant that it is becoming increasingly hard even to find Democrats willing to praise the law. So far, ObamaCare has done pretty much the exact opposite of everything its architects promised. But it would be naive to expect Democrats to admit their mistake outright. Instead of acknowledging the increasingly difficult to deny truth that ObamaCare is a disaster that needs to be uprooted in its entirety, the go-to talking point has become that the law just needs to be “fixed.” With the right legislative patches, they argue, we can transform this lumbering behemoth into something that can actually function.
This is the mindset behind Sens. Mark Warner and Mark Begich’s proposal to add a new “Copper Plan” to ObamaCare’s existing Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze options. This would be a lower cost, higher deductible health insurance plan for the folks who are currently being priced out of the law’s “affordable” mandated options. Read more here...
4. LibertyBeats "ObamaCare" - by Sam Harris
The Affordable Health Care Act, also know as "ObamaCare" is falling apart right in front of our eyes. Its time for Patient Centered Health Care driven by Free Market Principles that will benefit all Americans. Watch here...

5. Oh Look! The IRS is Seizing Bank Accounts Without Any Real Suspicion of a Crime - by Jason Pye
There's a new scandal involving the Internal Revenue Service. Already deserved criticism for its targeting of conservative organizations and promulgating rules allowing ObamaCare subsidies in states that have opted out of ObamaCare, the powerful tax agency is now under fire for seizing bank accounts of Americans who've done absolutely nothing wrong.
On SaturdayThe New York Times reported on a case involving Carole Hinders, an Iowa restaurant owner, who was informed last year by IRS agents that her bank account, worth nearly $33,000, had been seized without any formal charges against her. Hinders only real "mistake" was she deposited less than $10,000 at a time, which the IRS viewed as an attempt to skirt government-mandated reporting requirements under the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970: " Read more here...
6. The Fed is Not Our Only Option - by Logan Albright
For those who follow the arcane world of monetary policy, the U.S. Federal Reserve remains a shadowy institution with immense power, yet shockingly little oversight. Despite its 100 year history, the Fed has never been fully audited, and although a bill to do that very thing is languishing in the Senate right now, Harry Reid shows little inclination to bring it to a vote.
Of course, simply auditing the Fed is only a first step for many in liberty movement, who view the central bank’s abolition as the only way to ensure sound money in America. Critics of this view often answer back, “Well, if not the Fed, then what?” Read more here...
