Wherever they are in the world, and regardless of their circumstances, the Jews seem to flourish and get to the
top of their game. Even Richard Dawkins, the guru of Atheism, is intrigued by the disproportionally high amount
of Nobel prizes won by Jews. In politics, law, science, finance, arts, you name it, they are proportionally
more successful than anyone else.
Is this because their culture encourages success? Is this because they have a high IQ?
Or could it even be the result of surviving centuries of persecution?
Many famous people have branded the Jews the scum of the earth, and the cancer that eats the flesh of the nations. George Washington called them “the pest of society”, and Benjamin Franklin called them “vampires”. Winston Churchill accused them of leading a worldwide conspiracy to overthrow civilization “with envious malevolence”.
And Voltaire described them as “cringing in misfortune and insolent in prosperity."
When the Nazis rose to power 50% of the lawyers and 48% of the doctors of Berlin were Jews.
They owned its most prestigious newspapers and had successfully transformed Germany’s educational system.
But success stinks when envy is in the air.
So why are so many Jews famous? Simply because God said, “I’ll make you a great nation and bless you.
I’ll make you famous; you’ll be a blessing. I’ll bless those who bless you; those who curse you I’ll curse.
All the families of the Earth will be blessed through you” (Genesis 12:3).
