Meriam Ibrahim Finally Leaves Sudan After Being Sentenced to Death for Her Faith The Sudanese woman who was pregnant and sentenced to death for not recanting her faith has finally been allowed to leave Sudan after she spent weeks in a U.S. embassy after her release from prison.

Woman Has Two Abortions Because She Didn’t Want to Share Her Husband With Her ChildrenRowena met Roger when she was a teen and knew he was the man for her and they ultimately married when they were 21 years old. Meriam Ibrahim Visits Pope Francis After Finally Leaving Sudan After finally being able to leave Sudan, the woman who was sentenced to die for her Christian faith when she was pregnant visited Pope Francis today.
“Pope Francis was very tender with her, her husband, who was in prison, and thanked her for her courageous witness to perseverance in the Faith,” Vatican spokesman Fr.
