Sarah Palin: Paul Ryan's budget is 'definition of insanity'

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin blasted Republican Rep. Paul Ryan in a Facebook post Tuesday, calling his budget proposal "the definition of insanity." The former vice presidential candidate linked to an article by Breitbart News, which says Mr. Ryan's budget would increase spending in 2015 and 2016 but would balance the budget within 10 years.

Fort Hood shooter identified as Ivan Lopez

Officials identified the shooter who killed four people including himself at the Fort Hood military post in Texas on Wednesday as Spc. Ivan Lopez. The 34-year-old was married and had children, and had just moved to Killeen, Texas, from another military post in February.

Student fell to death after eating pot cookie

A Wyoming college student visiting Denver on spring break jumped to his death after eating a marijuana cookie that his friend legally purchased in one of Colorado's recreational pot shops, authorities said Wednesday.

A former U.S. Army intelligence analyst says the former CIA officer who testified before a house panel yesterday has had some real problems with telling the truth. Mike Morell dismissed suggestions that the CIA "cooked the books" in its assessment of the attack in Benghazi, Libya, that killed four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador.

Our English-speaking media were very clear after the 2012 election that the Republican Party was demographically doomed, since all the voters "of color" were shifting toward President Barack Obama and the Democrats. They echoed the mantra of GOP moderates, stating the only way to political viability was through "comprehensive immigration reform."
Challenge to Colorado gun laws has begun in federal court
A constitutional challenge of Colorado's new gun laws began in U.S. District Court Monday and will stretch for two weeks as Second Amendment advocates try to eliminate magazine limits and universal background checks. Attorney Richard Westfall said the new requirements are burdensome and restrict the Second Amendment right to bear arms.
