OUR LAWS MUST BE ENFORCED! NOT LATER, BUT TODAY!

Our workers deserve better. You can do something about it today.

Dear Conservatives:
What happens when Washington doesn’t enforce its trade laws? American jobs are put at risk.
That’s what happened to 50 workers at U.S. Steel’s Lorain, Ohio facility. Faced with a surge of low-cost imports from South Korea – and the U.S. Department of Commerce decision to sit on its hands – the company was forced to eliminate middle-class jobs.
That’s not right, and those workers shouldn’t be forgotten. That’s why MSNBC host Ed Schultz traveled to Lorain to let them share their side of the story. It’s a powerful one, told by the people who live it every day. Just click on the picture to view the video.

Now here’s something you can do about this outrage: You can write your representative and tell them to get tough on countries that cheat on trade. Tell them to sign HR 1276, which would take foreign governments to task for manipulating their currencies.
Those workers in Ohio? Their fight is our fight. It’s American manufacturing’s fight. And we’ll need your support to win it. And make sure to watch The Ed Show at 5 pm EDT on MSNBC this week for more information on the challenges facing the American steel industry.
Sincerely,
Scott Paul
President, Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM)
