The
IRS wants to control your freedom of speech and freedom of association.
Now, the FCC is moving forward with a “Multi-Market Study of Critical
Information Needs” (CIN) to monitor the flow of news from our nation’s
newsrooms.
The Obama administration has our speech, association, and press rights in its crosshairs! This is becoming frighteningly similar to the way in which fascist regimes have historically consolidated power.

The
Obama administration’s growing desire to control the free flow of
information, political thought, and public speech through federal
oversight should alarm every American!
Fascism is defined as being a form of radical authoritarian nationalism.
At
its core, fascism aims to control a nation through a totalitarian,
centralized government that promotes mass mobilization toward a single
political ideology. Fascist regimes typically encourage veneration of a
single leader or a small group of leaders.
At
this point, there can be little doubt that President Barack Obama is
using key components of the fascist playbook in running his
administration. Consider these chilling facts…
- He desires to move the country dramatically left based on his personal vision and ideology.
- He displays an arrogant intolerance toward opposing viewpoints and seeks to suppress and/or destroy his adversaries.
- He has repeatedly trampled the Constitution, the bedrock of our system of government, and the seat of the people’s power.
- He rules by decree and openly declares that he alone will unilaterally move the nation “forward.”
- Our federal government is ballooning to an unprecedented size and scope of authority.
- The Obama administration now intends to become the Big Brother of thought, speech, and the flow of information.
First,
the administration employed the IRS to target their political
adversaries. Now, the FCC has been deployed to monitor the flow of
information from America’s newsrooms – all in the name of “fairness.” We are closely watching the FCC’s planned actions!

Our First Amendment rights are under assault! President Obama
wants to control and/or limit your freedom of speech, inhibit your
freedom of association, and strongly influence the flow of information
that you receive.
To
achieve this, the administration intends to drive a knife through the
heart of its political opposition. For instance, the proposed new IRS
regulations would muzzle the conservative and pro-family movement by
silencing the 501(c)(4) organizations that give it a voice in public
affairs.
These
outrageous IRS regulations are a “gag order” aimed at conservative
Americans. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) issued a strong warning about the
proposed directives…
“What
these proposed rules are going to do… is to institutionalize the role
of the IRS as the speech police, something we ought to avoid like the
plague. The last thing we need to do is to support the IRS becoming the
speech police and suppressing the constitutional, protected rights of
the American people.”
++Congress calls for a one-year delay.
A
group of Republican Senators recently introduced the “Stop Targeting of
Political Beliefs by the IRS Act.” The bill is spearheaded by Senators
Jeff Flake (R-AZ) and Pat Roberts (R-KS), and is cosponsored by 37
others.
Senator Roberts defined the threat his way…
“It
is clear the IRS has no capacity to regulate political activity without
running roughshod over people’s fundamental constitutional rights.”
Congressman Dave Camp (R-MI) introduced a similar measure in the House of Representatives.
I believe that these congressional initiatives were prompted in
large part by our petitions and faxes to Capitol Hill. We have been sounding the alarm about these appalling regulations since December!
Now
is the time to take action and rein in the IRS. Now is the time to
demand congressional intervention against these new regulations in an
election year!
