BJ3: OK, well...for years during
"Black History Month", ads ("public
service"?) run proclaiming the greatness of certain black people. Just
yesterday, it cited Hank Aaron as a great black baseball player...which he
absolutely was. Some years ago, when a certain Dodger coach
praised some black baseball players as that on national tv, he was slammed
over all the media as being a blatant racist and lost his job. What
would happen if during a White History Month, ads ran
proclaiming Babe Ruth or Joe DiMaggio or Mickey Mantle as great white baseball
players, which they also all absolutely were? And btw, why isn't it called "Afican-American History" Month??? Because, correctly so,
there is no such race.

is that we were listening on a MAJOR radio station at that time when the
breaking news was being reported. And we don't recall the word black or Afro-American used. In fact, they almost made

Obama’s administration and more
than six years after the recession began, unemployment is the biggest concern
troubling the minds of Americans, according to a new Gallup
poll. Americans, it appears, are not
buying the rosy
White House line about all
the jobs being created and all the “consecutive months” of job growth. They get
that the unemployment rate is going down because people are giving up the
