Cancer Patient Who Complained About Losing Insurance Due to Obamacare Faces IRS Audit
A man with cancer who complained about losing his health insurance thanks to Obamacare’s rules and regulations is now facing an IRS audit. Bill Elliot couldn’t afford the expensive premiums of a replacement plan after Obamacare shelved his health insurance and spoke out about it in a Fox News interview.
He was so distraught he thought about paying the Obamacare fine of having no insurance and “letting nature take its course.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/cancer-patient-who-complained-about-losing-insurance-due-to-obamacare-faces-irs-audit/

18 and Out of the Foster Care System, She Finally Gets Adoptive Family
Amanda was almost 18 and about to “age out” of the foster care system. But while our nation’s laws consider someone who’s 18 to be an adult, you and I know there’s still a lot of growing up left to do at that age. Even young adults need a mom and a dad.
For example, Amanda still yearned for a mother’s love to soothe her on the bad days and share the joy with her on the good ones. She wanted a dad to hold her hand and walk her down the aisle. Amanda always dreamed of having somewhere to come home to on the holidays. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/18-and-out-of-the-foster-care-system-she-finally-gets-adoptive-family/

Gabriel Was Such a Joy, Even if He Only Lived for Five Hours
Amy and Andy, a couple from Mahomet, IL, were married with one son, Jackson, when they found out they were expecting their second child. But the excitement turned to anger and sadness at Amy’s 12 week routine ultrasound appointment when she sensed something was wrong. As she told News Channel 15:
The whole time I’m looking at the scan thinking, maybe, his head just doesn’t look right. Maybe it’s blurry. It’s probably nothing. I’m just, ya know, being nervous. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/gabriel-was-such-a-joy-even-if-he-only-lived-for-five-hours/
Abortion Supporter Admits Pictures of Aborted Babies are “Dead Bodies”
My pro-life website has quotes from abortionists and pictures of aborted babies. On the pages with the pictures of aborted babies, I have a brief survey which allows a visitor to answer several questions and leave their own comments. I got a comment this morning that I thought was interesting, and I wanted to share it.
The comment comes from a 37-year-old woman who claims to be an “atheist/agnostic.” She says: “quit with the lies and half truths. the set up of the pics are disgusting. seriously, would it be okay to play with and pose any other kinds of dead bodies? war is horrible but you don’t see people making horrific scenarios with peoples [sic] body parts.” http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/abortion-supporter-admits-pictures-of-aborted-babies-are-dead-bodies/

City Will Fight the Epidemic of Abandoned Babies With Anonymous Baby Box
A Chinese city has plans to fight the epidemic of abandoned babies caused in part by the one-child policy with an anonymous baby box. The idea behind the box is to protect newborns from infanticide by having parents of so-called unwanted children leave them with someone who will find them a family.
The BBC has more on this baby box idea. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/city-will-fight-the-epidemic-of-abandoned-babies-with-anonymous-baby-box/
What Did C.S. Lewis Think About Abortion?
This Friday marked the 50th anniversary of the death of C.S. Lewis, arguably the most influential Christian thinker of the 20th century. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/what-did-c-s-lewis-think-about-abortion/
Janitor at Nursing Home Saves Patients From Dying After Staff Abandons Them
I heard an amazing Good Samaritan story the other day. And there’s a reason I think you should hear it, too. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/two-staffers-at-nursing-home-save-patients-from-dying-after-owners-walk-out/

Late-Term Abortions are Okay But Animal Cruelty Isn’t?

The Blessing of Adoption: When an Unwed Mom Chooses Life Over Abortion
The fertility industry has been helpful to parents who are having trouble having a baby, but the pro-life community has long been concerned about the fallout: thousands, perhaps millions of human embryos — unique human beings — who are frozen on ice. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/28/rise-in-ivf-popularity-leaves-thousands-of-unborn-babies-in-limbo/

Forced Abortions, Gendercide Will Continue Until China’s One-Child Policy is Abolished
Although more than a week has passed since China put forth its newly tweaked One-Child Policy, echoes of this recent event continue to resonate across the media. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/forced-abortions-and-gendercide-will-continue-unless-chinas-one-child-policy-is-abolished/

United Nations Committee Against Torture Bashes Ireland’s Pro-Life Abortion Law
In an amazing irony, the United Nations Committee Against Torture is questioning officials in Ireland about whether they plan to continue legalizing more abortions and eventually overturning the nation’s pro-life law protecting women and children from the torture of abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/united-nations-committee-against-torture-bashes-irelands-pro-life-abortion-law/

Adrienne Asch Rightly Opposed Abortions on Disabled Kids, But Why Not All Abortions?
We’ve written about the cognitive dissonance that can (alas, it often doesn’t) accompany a pro-abortion feminist’s failure to condemn sex-selection abortions—babies killed for one reason and one reason only: they are girls. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/11/29/adrienne-asch-rightly-opposed-abortions-on-disabled-kids-but-why-not-all-abortions/
