LEFTISTS COUNTING ON LATINO VOTERS TO MAINTAIN POWER Obama remains significantly more popular with Hispanics than he does with the overall population despite their perception that he is too slow in moving forward with immigration reform (i.e.amnesty). A  November 10 poll released by Univision, a Latino television network, showed 48% of Americans approved of Obama’s job performance while Hispanics gave him a 66% job approval rating. Increasingly illegal immigrants, especially those hailing from Mexico are voting in violation of U.S. election laws and being protected from deportation by Obama’s non-deportation edict this summer as well as city and state-level sanctuary policies.
