MEXICAN COURT PROTECTS ALLEGED NARCO
Sandra Avila Beltran, known as “Queen of the Pacific,” faced charges for drug-trafficking, money-laundering and organized-crime charges in addition to being connected with a 2001 seizure of more than nine tons of U.S.-bound cocaine aboard a fishing vessel. Avila proclaims her innocence saying she made her money selling clothes and houses.
This is yet one more example of Mexico interfering in the U.S. legal system and turning a blind eye to the criminal acts against the U.S. committed by their citizens.
